Used our cell phone to look up the # for Access Comm, and used the call now option. We got a message stating the number has been changed and to get redirected the charge is $3.49 and to press 9 to be redirected. Like dumb dumbs we did, we were given the same number we had just called. So we called again and got the same darn message, did not press 9 again. So needless to say waiting on our bill, but from this point on we are not going to use the call option on the internet.
Same thing just happened to our business as well. We never made such a call. What scam is being pulled now? I'll spend the next 1 1/2 hours on the phone with Bell to get a 2.99 charged reversed. It's frustrating.
This number has appeared on my January Cogeco bill for a 1 min call that I was billed for, for the amount of $4.40 for one F'en minute. Cogeco reversed the charge without incident. I will now be checking all my other previous bills
I am using Rogers and I run into the same problem you have. The same one-time charge $3.49+HST=$3.94 appears in my Jan. and Feb. monthly bills and I already called them twice to have it reversed. The customer service said he had no clue and thus he could only credit back the charge and asked me to monitor the next bill...Are you still getting this charge in your latest monthly bill or you problem has been resolved?
Did you pursue this? I got charged 3 times as well for this number. I blocked it now but they got $8.00 from me Triton Global. Numberr is in St Frances, On. My email is araymond46@hotmail. com.
We have been billed by Bell for a call that we never placed from our private residence. It is 807-788-1246 the name appears as Triton Global Business Services on our Bell telephone invoice. The date was apparently Feb 29, 2016.Today Bell reversed the call charges for us no problem.This problem seems to have been going on for quite some time!!!!!
I just received my bill and found a charge of 2.99. I called my provider and they reversed the charge. They also block anyone from making a collect call to my house. This will alleviate any charges from here on. This is a big scam. Be careful. Shame on you Triton Globel.
Company is indeed Triton Global. It's odd that 3 calls were made, all on the same minute, and charge per minute is different.I did as suggested -- called my phone co (Shaw), let them know of this scam and requested them to block the number. I also contacted Triton via their website and requested that they block my phone from accessing their service.
