Bell charged us $3.49 for a directory assistance call made from our home to 807-788-1246 on February 26th 2015. We never made this call! Bell did reverse the charges and said they will investigate.
807 788 1246 appears on my home phone bill on March 19 4 times. We did not place calls to this phone number. March 19th was March Break and I was the only one at home this week.

We are a business client of Shaw and just received our bill for April. There was a charge from "Alternate Long Distance Provider - Triton Global." I called Shaw Business and they said someone in my office (only my CEO and myself) had to of called Directory Assistance. I told the rep that was not the case and he reversed the charge. Shaw was great and it was a painless process. Thank you Shaw.
Like others I was billed by Shaw for one of these calls that I did not make. When I queried it I was told it was a redirect service and perfectly legal. It may well be considered legal by the carriers but it cannot be legal for them to charge a customer for something they did not do ! Second call to Shaw to inform them I considered them to be in bed with the scam artists and if charges not reversed I was leaving. Charges reversed and am now awaiting a call from management to explain my anger at the company for allowing this to continue. Will see how long it takes to hear from them. Is it possible all the telecoms are in on this???
