This is most likely Vivint, if people keep asking about home security systems. I just got this call for the first time today and I spoke with someone from Vivint (a home security company) yesterday.

At the very least, most phones should give you a way to set a specific ringtone for any given number, and usually 'no ringtone' is an option you can choose.

you have to call the company - and tell them that if you continue getting calls - your lawyer will be contacting them.....you don't have to have a lawer - they don't know that, but motivates them

this number called me multiple times. Only one time did they respond and they did so with a false Indian accent. The sixth time they called I told them I was listed on the no call list and threatened to call the police. They lost their phony accent in their panic and promised not to call again. I have not heard from them sense.

Any telemarker/bill collector that has been told to cease & desisit, and contiues to keep calling is considered harassing you, and can be severly punished. And on top of that it's a personal cell number? This place is looking to get shut down!

My service provider, AT&T, allows me to block up to 30 numbers on my cell phone with an optional feature called "Smart Limits". But there is a monthly fee. Don't have a recent bill, but it's approx $5 a month. For me, the temporary relief is worth it. I've only had the service a few months and am already getting near the max b/c of relentless telemarketers. When the list fills up, I suppose I'll just start over.

I called them back and it made a weird sound then some lady answered. I asked why she called and she stated she was with some security company, couldn't understand heavy Asian accent. I told her my number was on the do not call list AND a cell number and she and her company had better not call again. She said ok thank you and hung up.
