This number has been calling my boyfriend and I repeatedly and when we called back they would never answer, and then they just now answered and all we heard was monkeys screaming for a couple of minutes
This is a scam. I spoke with my local law enforcement office and they stated that these people will call from different numbers (i.e. Dallas, Tampa, New York) and ask you if you want a free home security system. If you tell them you do, then they will get your information, name, address and best time to come to install the system. They then know when you are not at home and that you don't have a security system and will come and rob your house. Just tell them that you already have one and they will quit calling.
Annoying calls from this number. Something needs to be done to prevent automated NUISANCE calls. I have answered calls from this number and there is no one on the other end. STOP ANNOYING CALLS should be made a law.
Kept receiving calls frm this #, called it back and heard monkeys screaming in the background.
Got this call about 10 mins ago.....didn't answer.....only had this number for perhaps three months.....Don't know how this number got out, but it wouldn't surprise me if it had been sold along with thousands of others.
Same thing here, called back, busy signal, also calling my cell, asked about jobs and scholarships online. Seems to be a pattern.
Call came from Tampa to Kansas on my cell phone. That is very rare. Call not answered and no message left. Rossi
She called me too, starting off with they got my number off some list and was willing to give me a free security system. Told her I already had one and she just hung up! Probably hard to keep a connection all the way from india.

they're trying to get personal and fin info under the pretense of finalizing a loan. they leave (866) 398-2896 as a callback number but actual caller id is spoofed to a different number each time.
