Does anyone can say anything about a call from Carmax. I do not even understand why they are calling.
I quickly answered the telephone call as I did not want to forego the deal. This was a rare and very valuable piece and to my disbelief the telephone call was from the jerk who had been telephoning us from previous Monday and always the conversation was one sided. The instance I cut off the line the mad fellow phones once more. I forgot about the mobile phone until my neighbor brought it to my notice just a few minutes ago. I feel angry with no one else but with myself for losing the most looked forward item for my collection.
They left a message that I am eligible to activate warranty coverage of my vehicle. I don't own a vehicle. Definitely fraud. I have received the same call from different phone numbers.
This number shows up as having called me less than an hour ago but I wasn't around to answer the call. they left no message. I have been getting calls about expiring warranties but have not noted the number that was calling
Vehicle warranty renewal scam...again. Stayed on the line to have my number removed from their call list. The rep quoted the company name as "Warranty Help Desk Incorporated" and said my number would be removed within 24 hours... that remains to be seen.
I just received a call from (817) 444-5194 also...but did not answer (never do, and I hope I never make the mistake of answering!). Today is December 20, 2008 at 12:45PM. Some of these types of calls can connect to your line and cause havoc... What can we do to reverse this problem on them!!???Regards...CJ
I just got a missed call from this number now I'm glad I missed it 12/20/08 at 2:45 p.m. Thanx everyone!
Got an automated call from this number about 20 minutes ago (20 Dec 2008, 3:40 P.M.), my son took the answer as I was out. He said it was an automated message stating that we need to have a valid insurance paper otherwise we need to pay for the vehicle repairs. Funny coincidence I just picked up my car yesterday that has been fixed following an accident. It seems to me that they have connections to someone who would know about that, either at the car dealer (Nissan), the insurance company, or the rental company (Discount) which provided a replacement car. Funny thing they are in Texas and we are in Canada !
