Getting calls everyday from various numbers and its Portfolio for a citibank card that is older than dirt. You can answer their call get their address and the persons name and then send a letter to ask them to stop calling. If they call again you can sue their [***]. I am going to be doing it because I am tired of them harrassing everyone.
They (portfolio Recovery) used to call twice a day, now a year later, they are down to 3 calls per week. Soon they will figure out I will never answer the call.
They call nonstop from several different numbers for something from 11 yrs ago from my ex. I just started answering the phone and not saying anything. At least they will be charged something scince they never leave a message.This lady stayed on the phone saying hello Jim for 90 seconds... Dumba$$es.
Something need to be done about these idiots. They call all day long, even on the weekends. And I am sick of it.

"Portfolio Recovery" Robo-Calls are coming in every day @ 8:00 AM PST. What can we do? Just about all my friends are getting these. Quickly picking up the phone to say: "you have no business at the phone number" reveals no one on the other side.
3 different phone numbers all from the same company -- all looking for Ramon Hernandez. I don't even know who that is. Frankly, I rarely give out to companies the phone number they've been calling, since I have a limited minute plan, so they'd better stop wasting my time and money!

Ok...each time I get a number I don't recognize I always google it and once again this company has called me. I never answer because they call for the person who used to have my number...allegedly. Though I have had this number for at least seven years. Though my field of work is employment law..I dabbled a bit in consumer protection. I woild suggest that you verbally request them to not contact you and that if they hqve business with you to send any correspondence in writing. Also note the date of your request and keep a log of each time they call and.from what number. Send a confirmation of the conversation in writing via certified mail reiterating your request. If they.continue tp call then contact an attorney. Sorry of some of the.words.are not clear. Typing.from my smart phone.

Said they were from Bank of America calling me about a fraud alert on my account. When I told them I do not have an account with B o A - they hung up on me. Ironic!
They said it's a business call from northern light. Not real and clearly spam. Northern light must have its phone numbers data leaked.
Called today and left no message. No caller ID, so I did not pick up the call.
