Do as I have done. Look up your Congressman's number and forward all calls to their office whenyou do not want to answer the phone. If enough people would join me in doing this I believe the a law would be passed that would stop all the harassment.

If it makes you feel any better. I'm years from qualifying for medicare and do not have diabetes. Not sure this is privacy issue -- just simply fishing.The enforcement of the Do Not Call list is a joke, I get countless unwanted calls a day. Some probably illegal. Some taking huge liberty with the loopholes in the law. Very frustrating.By the way, I did press '2' to stop receiving calls. Was connected to an actual person! She promptly hung up on me when I asked to be removed.

Received a call from this number, but nobody said a word. Always worried about scams as it didn't show a name, just that number was unavailable.

Just received call from 849-963-4853.It said UNKNOWN CALLER - yet shown the above number . Didn't answer asI had no idea who it was ..

I answered and a recorded message about medicare care, and to push 1 for this and 2 for that. I never do that, it could transfer you to an over- seas number you might have to pay for. Also this number I don't see the area code in the pone book. So it's a long distant number, yea, you can stay on the line if you want but don't even push any numbers they tell you. Who the heck do the think they are anyway, telling you what to do. It's a SCAM all the way. Best to hang up and if you got caller ID don't even answer.

11-14-2012 @ 10:48 AM, 849-963-4853, NAME NOT FOUND = Wife took call because I was gone. After she listened a few seconds she hung up. Said it was about Medicare/Medicaid supplies & services. A web search on this number shows it came from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. This is second call of this type received from the same area. Other call was on 7/10/2012 from 849-963-3222. Area Code is for the Dominican Republic according to searchs I've done. Just another damn scammer. Wife said it was a woman with a heavy accent. I'd like to stick a double barrel shotgun up their butts and pull both triggers. Nothing but a friggin nuisance!!

I have selective call forwarding... send all these calls to the FTC (202) 326-2222, my phone never rings... if the Federal Trade Commision cannot enforce the list... let them get the calls.

Caller said was from Medicare and wanted to give me information. Since I am not suscribed to Medicare I hung up. Seems fishy to me.
