I don't know who was calling, couldn't understand them. A man barely speaking English.
Got a call from +1 (855) 356-3194. A person with a foreign accent wanted to verify my home address. I asked what was the purpose of the call but the person insisted on verifying my address. I hang up.
Got a call from this number. Called back but hung up then did search. Found this site. Figured it was spam call.
Keeps calling several times with Indian accent. He had my old address and kept asking me to verify the address. He wouldn't tell who or why he called me before verifying the address. I hung up!

They keep calling (most recently a few minutes ago), insisting on first verifying my info, but I keep telling them that I will not verify any info unless they first disclose who they are and what the call is about, after which I hang up. However, they start calling again a few days later. Smells like a phish to me...The Indian access seems common with each of the callers.
The same thing happened to me at 8:30 this morning but with me they wanted to know my name but I didn't give it to them cause they wouldn't tell me who they are nor the reason for asking for my name. So I hunger up. It was a woman and a man in the background. To me their accent is from India or Pakistan.
Called several times on my cell phone. After reading these notes I answered. Same deal, lady obviously from India, calling on "personal business", verified my name. When she got to the address I asked what it was about, she said she couldn't tell me unless I verified the address and was it correct. I said I'm not verifiying anything else until I know what the call is about. Then hung up and blocked the number.

When you answer the phone they hang up. They are trying to see if the number is actually associated with a person or not. Most likely they will clone the number.
This number called the other day didnt answer as I didnt recognize the number. Turns out my hunch was right another spam caller. It's the only calls I get nowadays
