yeah, recently heard a segment on NPR about how such scams, even if you don't answer them, can be dangerous. Cold calls like this can give them a lot of info, and the best thing of course to do is to just hang up. Even a vocal response will let them know valuable info regarding what they can do with the number in the future. :( So, they suggest not saying hello when it's a number you don't recognize and simply hanging up once you realize it's a recording.
This is an international crime syndicate. Call your local FBI field office if you have been contacted by this phone number.

Call came in at 3:41P.M. on February 9, 2026. No spoken message was left. I checked the missed call box that read not in service. I checked the phone and there was a dial tone. I assumed the call was a scam.

I received a package from a rigging company in New York with my name and address but this phone number as my contact number.

Calls once or twice per week with voice msg "Brandon from CTS" call me back. WTF is CTS? No context, no real msg.
