I was on the phone already so I didn't answer the incoming call. Glad I didn't since it's a scammer calling.

Received call from this number.Didn't answer.One note of interest: where caller id wpuld normally show a name or city, the id showed the phone number. Strange.

858-524-4881 - WIRELESS CALLER: Called on 9/23/2015 @ 9:10 AM. "Congratulations - you've won a cruise ....." click - hung up the phone at that point. Internet search reveals call came from San Diego, Calif. Nothing but a POS Scammer. Haven't known anyone in California for over 20 years! I'd like to stick a double barreled shotgun up scammers [***] and pull both triggers!!!!!! DNC listings are nothing but a big fat joke! They never do anything about them. Neither does the state attorney general! I've kept a log and given it to the AG several times without any results whatsoever!! I wish they'd put a special button on phones so you could blow up THEIR PHONE when you pushed the button!

Well, Rifleman, you do understand that in all probability, the call DID NOT come from San Diego. But based on your complaint about the DNC and the AG, then probably you don't. The caller is just spoofing a random (and untraceable) number. I've even had calls identified on my Caller ID as MY OWN NAME AND NUMBER!! The do not call registry has nothing to do with the scammers who call. They don't care if your number is on the list or not. They've probably never seen it. In addition, the scammers are probably using VOIP and are located in a foreign country, making both identification and enforcement at best very difficult if not nearly impossible. Just chill out, use your caller ID and don't answer any call that is either not identified or recognizable. If the call is important, they will leave a real message and you can call them back. If they don't leave a message, then the caller really didn't need to talk to you.

Just received a call from this number. Caller ID shows as Rancho Bernado, CA. I did not answer and no message was left. Thank goodness for the internet and you kind folks for posting your experiences as I know I can just look a number up and see if it was just a wrong number or a scam.
