CMH Services 1-865-380-3190 called my house phone today at 2:54. My husband answered the phone, it was a lady and she ask for me. My husband told her I was at work and ask if he could take a message. She told him I was behind on my trailer payment and I needed to call them ASAP. We don't own a trailer, never owned one and the house we live in belonged to my grandpa and he gave it to us 23 years ago-its paid for. I have no idea what CMH Services/Vanderbilt Mortgage is talking about but they need to get their &%$# together!

Got a call today at 4 p.m. stating they were trying to locate a possible neighbor of mine and gave a name of which I am not familiar. It's ridiculous to look in the public listing to try to find the neighbor of a debtor (although that is just what I'm assuming the call was regarding). The lengths to which these people will go amazes me.Glad this site is here and the info posted. Thank you for the information.

I recieved a call from this number today & it was a very nice lady asking how I would rate our double wide home that we recently purchased & asked why I gave the rating that I did? Couldn't have asked for a more polite person. Our home is Clayton & we are financed in T.N. Evidently the name has changed because we are not through Vanderbilt.

I also have received a call from this number. I let the machine get it and no message was left. If I don't know a number, I don't answer it. We've had some real doozies call. And we have all our numbers on the "Do Not Call List". I don't answer calls from "unknown" either. I figure it they have my number, I should have theirs.

This is Clayton Homes - following up on a 6 month "check" to make sure everything is ok with a mobile home I purchased. They left a message - so if it is legit and they don't leave a message, shame on them.

Yeah, it was a questionnaire in regards to the purchase of a mobile home. I did happen to buy one a few months back. They just wanted to know how satisfied I was with my recent purchase and whether or not I would recommend the place I purchased the home from to friends/family. Took like 2 minutes to answer the questions. She was professional and nice enough.

Keep him on the phone and talk talk talk. Ask them about the weather their day etc say hang on and set down phone.

This is also the number for Vanderbilt Mortgage & Finance, Inc.. a sister company to Clayton Homes, Inc. If you have purchased or know someone who has purchased a manufactured home from any CMH Homes owned dealerships (Luv Homes, Freedom Homes, Oakwood Homes, Clayton Homes, etc...) and Vanderbilt Mortgage & Finance, Inc was the lender, then you are probably receiving a collections call. if you did not purchase, but know someone who has, they might be contacting you for information as you may have been listed as a "contact" or a relative.
