Got a call from that number asking for Lisa Smith from Rebecca at Vanderbilt--don't know any Lisa Smith, don't know anyone with a manufactured home and don't know Rebecca. Rebecca left callback # of 1-888-285-0008 ext 2750. Said it was "imperative" that they hear from Lisa. Not calling this back and will X-reference the callback #. Don't know what's going on.

This is the collection arm of Vanderbilt Mortgage. I have spoken with Rebecca myself as I voluntarily surrendered a mobile home I had purchased and then returned due to an auto accident which left me disabled. Here is how to handle it:Get the persons nameGet the persons supervisors nameGet the mailing address of the companySend certified letter stating you are not to receive any phone calls unless there is a specific change in the account, ie, judgement, going to attorney, etc.This complies with the FTC guidelines on collection calls.

Got a call from this number, hung up after 3 rings without waiting for an an answer. Caller ID listed CHM Services and the number 865-380-3000. I have never financed anything thru this place, but my daughter has. She does have her own number.

This number has called at least eight times to my 13 year old son's cell phone. I have called them twice and both times have been told, "There is nothing we can do about it." I have never had any connection with Clayton Homes and neither has my son, unless he is leading some secret financial life I know nothing about.

ok so u guys had ppl call and actually say stuff....well the number calls me and then just beeps in intervals of about 5 seconds it just beeps! and if u ignore it it will leave a message of beeps like its some sort of computer or something? idk but its pissin me off!

I got a call from this number today on my cell phone. I called it back and it was Clayton Homes/Vanderbilt Mortgage. I eventually talked to someone there who asked me for my account number. When I told her that I didn't have one and that my mortgage was through someone else, she said she couldn't tell me who called. I asked her if she could put my number in the system and see what came back and she said that I would have to wait until I got called back. The only thing I can figure is that it's a collection call for someone who had my cell phone number. I've only had this number for a little over a year and when I first got it, I received numerous collection calls from more than one company. I eventually got that all straightened out and now it may begin again.

I got a call from this number last night. I let the Answering mechine get it. A man asked for me to give a Joe Dalton as message. He said Joe was a neighbor of mine. I don't know a Joe Dalton.

My mother received a call from this number asking about a relative of my husband. She gave them my number and when they called I said I didn't know how to get in touch with this relative as we don't speak with them. Not sure of how my mother got involved in the whole thing or who these people even are but I don't want to be contacted by anyone I don't have business with.
