Just got a call from this number. I always Google unknown numbers and this site came up. A lot of people are saying it has something to do with Verizon but I've never been a customer of Verizon. Probably just a scammer. Blocked.
I have been getting calls everyday. I can always here people/ kids in the background like someone is calling from their house. They do not have professional voices. One guy said he was calling about my direct TV account as a baby was playing in the background. I haven’t had a account with them in almost a year.
Have gotten TWO calls from this number. One for my Verizon service, which I have NEVER had. The second (about three days later) was about my DirecTV service which I haven't had in six months. I just hung up both times and now blocked the number.
Turns out it's a really richguy giveing away free money. He wired $10K to my bank. I should have asked for more!jk. it's those [***] from direct tv again. They should huryy up and dye
Get these calls multiple times daily. They never leave a message and I don't answer numbers I don't know. I am a cricket customer.
keeps calling . I have call detector app and it hangs up on them. I suggest just don't answer if you do you prove you have a "live" number and they will sell it to other telemarketers. If it is legit call and important they will lleave a message

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.
