I am so sick of getting these calls! I have them BLOCKED but it's annoying anyway to have to weed through them as "missed calls"

I guess they don't understand the meaning of cease and desist letter huh?

I receive calls from this number daily but never answer. They call me at least 3-4 times a day and never leave a message. I blocked the number. I am wondering if it is related to calls I received from Sallie Mae regarding a student loan for someone I don't know. From what I have researched, this number is for a debt collector.

Midland Credit ManagementI got a call at 8am Sunday Morning by a person who I could not even understand with what could only discribe Pakistani accent looking for god knows who..couldn't understand the name. After telling him that he had the wrong number he said something like that this call was recorded I repeated again he had the wrong number, over the past 2 hours I had this company call me 6 times looking for a person I have never even heard of, so much for a quiet sunday due to companies like this a man cant even get a break in his own home.

They called me today. Scum like this gets their call through just once, then I add them to by blacklist using an app called Extreme Call Blocker (Android). Now whenever they call, it won't ring or go to voicemail. It just hangs up immediately, and they give up after a few tries. Works every time.

Him: the balance is 1101.20 Me: sooooo... By my calculations that's 220 guys at 5 dollars a pop and someone gets like a 78% discount and pays 1.20... I'LL EARN IT FIRST AND PAY YOU BACK THENhim: OKAY SIR HAVE A GREAT DAY SIR HAVE A GREAT DAY My advice, if someone wants to try to scam you out of 1100 bucks, you may as well have some fun with it.

Kept receiving calls from 866-580-4780 at least 3-5x/DAY and ignoring them. Picked up the phone one day at it's Midland Debt Collection asking for someone who does not own this phone number or live at this address. I explained that they had a wrong number and I didn't know anyone by that name. They hung up on me. I'm STILL receiving 3-5 calls a day from them and I'm so irritated.

I got a call today. I do not owe anything or have any debts. My credit score is 820. Just got my credit report recently. If I owe anything it would have shown up. I just put them on silent ring. BTW, these are scammers. If you have a debt let them mail letters to you if they know where you are. Why call?? Please don't give any personal information to them as well. Anyway, I got a feeling it's the employee of our phone company from outsource region like India. I have AT&T and their outsource center is in India. They probably got our numbers by looking up their systems and sell to anyone who is willing to pay. Haven't you realized that lately most of these scammers has Indian accent!!!! Blame the greedy phone companies for our problems. Why the hell did we pay for a land and cell line and has to go through hell with these calls?
