Debt collection asking for personal information but would not say how much debt or the company they our collecting from. APPEARS TO BE A SCAM

This is Midland Credit Corp. They leave no messages at all. I have left them messages. They are trying to collect on a debt that I already explained to them was billed incorrectly. The doctor's office billed to the wrong insurance so it is their own fault and I am not paying. If they billed correctly, they would have been paid in full. I even sent everything to the doc. Now it is expired per 5 yr statute.

I don't really know who these people are they keep calling my home number which is activated but never been used. It shows the number on my tv screen though I don't have an actual phone for the number they are calling. How do I block this number?

All the blocking tips are great but what about blocking the number on a landline. ma bell only allows local numbers be blocked not 1800 type numbers or out of area numbers. My elderly in-laws are getting all these calls for someone they do not know at all times of day and night and its very frustrating, and scary for them when its threatening calls.

This number calls me everyday morning, evening and night. The person does not leave a message and does not identify himself. Has a strange accent, Indian or Arabian.

They've been pestering me too at all hours. Listen y'all, I just found out that credit agencies have been re dating 15yr old debt. Make sure to check credit report every year for free. Everybody gets one, and save ALL previous years reports to prove they are doing it. Blocking: I have a cheap phone, but after the call comes in, go to your log select the number and you should have a block or reject call function. I have had to let it ring long enough to let the phone number appear to write down, bcuz after it just shows unavailable. Hope that helps.

The person calling my number is calling for someone who does not live or has ever lived in my house. They live/lived in the neighbor. I asked that my phone number is removed from their calling list.

I moved them into my "spam" folder on my phone so when they call it doesn't ring. Just got another call from them, they won't leave a VM because they don't want anything they say to be recorded.

1 call on 8-17-14, 2 calls on 8-18-14, 4 calls so far on 8-19-14... none answered. new number for me, have not had credit cards in over 10 years. they are relentless.
