This is the number universities use for an emergency system.They keep calling me too but then they text me and told me it was only a test.

It was a call from an automated system that my University uses telling me that there is a threat on campus and that it is closed for the remainder of the day.

Got a call at 6 am. Did not answer it and no message was left. From comments here it may have been St. John's University, maybe trying to inform me of the snow day.

From what I've heard and signed up for, this is a Campus Alert System. Should anything happen at your college campus you will get a phone call from this system informing you of what is currently happening. This works with college closures for weather, threats, and other scares.

no message want it stogged

got 4 calls today on my cell - if there is a message I don't know what it is because I am in an area where my phone won't pick up. I am here because of hurricane Gustav - but don't attend any school so don't know what kind of emergency notification it would be.

i got a cal from this number, however i could not pikc it up. Not sure what number it is, as I am located in india.

I received a call from this number and it was alerting me to my university closing early. Universities likely use a service which all come from this number, so perhaps other organizations do as well. It may be something you signed up for and don't realize it.

This number called me yesterday and left a MSG. Told me to call back and enter a code to listen to the message, but the code didn't work, tried several times. They knew my full name and former employer

This number called my cell twice. I redialed, and it wishes for me "to enter in my telephony ID to hear now to hear your message". I have it on right now and will just leave it on for awhile, just to burn up one of their lines. Maybe delay another call.
