It's an elert system call from a college or university you may have attended. To opt out call the emergency managers office of the college, in my case it was St. Pete College in Florida. I took an online class from there. 727 341 4501

They have just started calling my Cell phone and I am a Truck Driver who has more important things to do than answer a stupid phone call about wanting to go back to collage. If I wanted to go back to collage I would contact them!!!!!!

i got the same message from "mike o'keefe" the writer just after you said it's an alert system from st. pete college, which i do attend. do you? the other weird thing is when you call that number you get an option for english, spanish, and french. who knows, but i called and entered my code for a message and it said "i have no messages" ? ? ?

Got two calls today on our home phone about driving positions. The calls came within one half hour of one another. Why are they calling me about getting a Class A CDL? Where did they get my phone number? If this is a Mass-Notification Automated System is this legal? I am on the Do Not Call list.

got the same call..what is going on....I do not call back #'s that do not state what they want in their message! don't know how they got my #! to many scams out there!

I called St. Petersburg College (where I attend class) to find out about this number. The person that answered the phone said it is indeed an emergency test number. I was forwarded to the department that handles this kind of testing and let them know how angry I was that they did not identify themselves. I was called on my cell phone while in class and when I got home I checked my land line and there was another call from this number without identification. Shame on the college worrying me - - thinking it was a prank or fraud with my full name - - frightening - - not to mention all the time I spent researching this number on the internet. I was just about to report it to the National "Do Not Call Center". I hope others call their college/university an place a complaint. I would expect a college to know better than to call anyone and not leave identification.

I got the same mike o'keefe msg...glad to know its just from SPC but I totally agree with you Jean. I was all freaked out cuz they had my name and I had no idea who it was.

I just got one, actually directed to a friend of mine announcing a gas leak on the uwindsor campus, which i no longer attend. strange.

This number has called my son's cell repeatedly. It's freaking him out. I'd like it to stop.
