I noticed a transaction of $1.00 on Amazon and then $47.94 on Apple i-Tunes. The irony is that I do not own any apple product. Called up Wellsfargo fraud department and cancelled my card. Hope this takes care of the issues.

I just found two charges (itunes) on my statement, and i've never used, bought anything from itunes. But I did make a purchase on Amazon a couple weeks ago.

It happened to me too. 4 $1 charges, from "APL*APPLE ITUNES STORE, 866-712-7753, CA", after attempting to set up what I later realized was NOT a legit copy of iTunes. It asked me to accept automatic transactions with these guys when I was setting up too. I got freaked after the $1 charges though, and cancelled the automatic transactions right away.Then I tried to report it to Apple, but I got a sales rep that...didn't help me much. I believe he is based in India, and all he does is quote from his book it sounds like. He would not answer any of my pressing questions, such as "Is APL*APPLE ITUNES STORE, 866-712-7753, CA your company or not?" It was a colossal waste of my time; I've given up with him tonight, and contacted Paypal to let them know all what happened. They should be heaps more helpful than the useless Apple rep.

I too was recently hit with mysterious charges on my credit card but were very small charges. The cards issuing bank caught it before I did and I couldnt even fill up my car. Didnt know what happened untiled I called the banks customer service. New card on the way. Im not a member of itunes. How are these scammers getting our info ? Thats the primary worry.!!!

i bought something from them for 9.99 and they charged me 99.99 . they said that i'm gonna get my money back .... yeah right

I got hit too with this unknown purchase of $1.29 from credit card. I didn't see any transaction history on my itune store. They take me every time 8,98$ or 6,99$ and if I tried to call 8667127753 nobody answer

This is still happening - happened to me yesterday First a $1 charge to GOOGLE on Feb 3, 2012, then two larger charges to APPLE ITUNES. Had to cancel my debit card today.I see that these posts about the same fraud go back to 2009. And still it continues? Why haven't the criminals been shut down, put in prison, eyes plucked out, hands chopped off and houses burned down yet? Where is Law Enforcement? Oh, but don't get caught with a little bag of weed, or drive for a day without current car registration - Law Enforcement will be all over that!

Happened to me too. Have 100 dollars on my account.. How do they get our numbers??
