I had Allstate for 20 years. Multiple policies. In all those years had one claim of a cracked windshield from some punk throwing rocks off an overpass. That was back in the early 2000's. No tickets. Every friggin year Allstate raised my rates. My reward for being a loyal customer is rate hikes? With a total of 6 vehicles on policy this adds up quickly. I left Allstate a couple years ago.

1/15/2015 - This NOT Allstate, no matter what a Caller ID says. This is a spoofed number that scammers use. Some scammers will set up the calls so that "Allstate" shows. The name of Allstate is well known, and there are a lot of policy holders and ex-policy holders across the US.

Since the phone companies charge minutes to ones cellphone whether they are calling or answering, maybe they make extra money by getting millions of folks to answer phony phone calls via automation.

I have had Allstate two different times in my life. Never had a claim. In both instances after paying the full premium they had some excuse to charge me more. Took me twice to learn my lesson. Wouldn't use them again if they were the last insurance company on earth. Unethical and sorriest insurance company as far as I am concerned.

After 8 is disrespectful. Families are busy with children, everyday chores and getting ready for bed and the next day!

I totally agree Allstate suck. They will do anything to get out of paying. My car got hit with a horrible hail storm while on vacation. It was totally unexpected and we were sound as when it. We had no place to move car anyway. The stupid claims people weren't going to pay and said that if there was going to be bad weather we should have moved the car to a safe place. Could not even believe they said that. Had multiple hailstones where I live everyone around us had roofs replaced. Every time they found an excuse not to even pay for repairs.

It says "Toll Free Call" when they call. I have not had a chance to answer.

I get calls from this number almost every day. When I do answer, there is an immediate hang-up

It says "Toll Free Call" when they call. Same thing happened to me, I didn't answer and the voicemail was one second of silence. It sounds as though it's a call center that hangs up due to no voice.
