Well it does, because they call my cell number all the time. I even told them that my husband is the VP of a mortgage company and to remove me from their list. No such luck, they still call me every single day.
I have never been in the service of any kind. I don't know where you got my name, and or my #. I will warn you I am on the do not call list and if I see this # on my caller ID again I will report it.Thank you.
Since Mar. 2 my MISSED call log shows 44 missed calls from this number. My number is on the Do Not Call registry. After reading some posts on this site, I can tell this company is blatantly ignoring the registry. I'm curious if the Missed Calls from this number could reach 100. If so, I will pick up on the 100th call and will act like an @$$ just for the hell of it. But I do wonder if they actually get any business from cold calling. My first thought would be no...but they wouldnt keep calling if that were the case.
866-812-6662, got this call at work, was extremely busy, I didn't answer, just waited. After about a minute and a half, some one finally asked for an employee. Informed them it was an Operating Room and whoever he was trying to call he needed to call them on their private phone. He finally hung up, I AM VERY PERSISTENT! If you answer right away they usually hang up immediately. This way you can try to engage them, instead of them engaging you.All of you complaining that you are on the do not call list: The National Do Not Call Registry is managed by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). This is the same agency that governs debt collections.Write these fools a CEASE and DESIST letter. Here is their address:Mortgage Investors Corporation6090 Central Avenue St. Petersburg, Florida 33707There are lots of sample letters on line, tailor one to your situation. What ever you do, don't mention your name, just that you want them to stop calling for any one at any time at your number and this includes computer generated calls. You don't need to give them any info that they don't already have.It works for Debt Collectors, should work for telemarketers. The FTC governs both.
Been receiving 5 to 10 calls a day from Mortgage Investors of America - contacted my local phone company, who confirmed this is a predatory lending company based out of India. He contacted their IT department to have my name removed from list, that worked for about a week and they are back at it again. Completely useless people who should have licenses to do business in the United States removed.
They are calling constantly. We try to be polite as we can, but no matter how many times we say no thank you, they always call back!!! I'm at the point of just calling the police on the for invading my privacy and harrasment.
They call me every day. They called again today and I have time to kill cuz I'm on a 5 hour road tripSo I've called them at least ten times straight as soon as they hung up to listen to wonderful Texas country, well see if this tactic works!!!?
I have been getting calls daily from this number. I don't answer and they never leave a message.
