Repeated calls from this number. When call is answered, we are hung up on immediately. We have re dialed this number and spoke to numerous operators POLITELY requesting that our number be removed from their calling list...only to be called back within 10 MINUTES !!! VERY DISRUPTIVE and aggrevating in a busy work environment !
i called back and it was 5/3 bank. they said it was a courtesy call about a loan. i advised them that i didnt feel the courtesy when getting hang up calls once a week. the lady was very nice and stated she would take me off the phone call list. ill let you know if it worked.
This number calls and does not leave a message. I do have a mortgage thru 5/3 so based on this thread I would have to agree that it is them. It is very annoying to get calls from unknown people who don't leave a message.
I got a call saying it was 5th3rd while I was gone. They refused to talk to my husband who answered the phone. I called back to get an automated recording and then got a rep. He wanted my social security number. I started to give it and then said,"no, call me back". I did not get another call. This worried me so I call my 5/3 branch but she was unable to verify this number as one of theirs. I was however informed that my account was safe because I had not given any bank numbers.
I routinely do not answer 800/877/866 calls so I didn't answer when they called today, but if it's 5/3, then I guess I'm out of luck because we have our mortgage through them and can't get our number removed....I'm still not going to answer any calls though. I think it should be illegal for telemarketers to hang up on voice mail...there's nothing more annoying than coming home to multiple hangups because these morons don't hang up before the outgoing message is done.

It is a legit PNC Bank phone no. I wrote out a $12000. check and they called to verify and had the last 3 digits of checking acct. on message.
