I got a call from 866-849-0583 saying he was from 5/3 Bank. When I kept asking what he wanted, he got mad and hung up because I would not confirm my name. I called 5/3 Bank at their real number 800-972-3030 and they had no knowledge of who would be calling me from the fake number. SCAMMERS!!!!!! I reported them to 5/3 Bank's fraud department.

Get calls from this number often, never leaves a message. After seeing comments about being 5/3 bank, I called 5/3 using different number. Lady could not verify it as one of their's. Probably a spoofed number. NEVER give them any of your information. If it is truly 5/3 they need to stop! If they can't give me the courtesy of stating the reason for their call, I sure as hell don't care to do business with them!

After several minutes of checking, lady said she could not verify 866-849-0583 as one of their numbers. I do not believe it is 5/3, probably scammers. If it is 5/3 they are extremely rude for calling excessively and not having the courtesy or common sense to leave a message.

Just got a call from this phone number, didn’t answer, they left no message. I called 5/3 main number and talked w/ customer service rep who searched their directories. She said that was not their number nor any of the branches.

Getting regular hangup annoyance calls from this number to my work cell phone. Calling and politely asking to be removed accomplished nothing.Finally had to add them as a contact to my phone as "BiteMe FifthThird" and set a custom ringtone to "MUTE" Problem not solved exactly, but I can at least live with these annoying weasels now by not having to rush to the phone when they call.

THIS NUMBER IS FAKE.

Return call. People said they were 5/3 bank and had various refi offers and such. When I asked which of my accounts they were looking at, they asked for my Soc Sec number. They didn't pursue it when I refused to divulge that. I'm fairly sure it was just legit call... but not certain.

TO THE PEOPLE AT FIFTH THIRD THAT LETS THIS STUPID PHONE NUMBER RING AND HANG UP, I CALLED THAT NUMBER BACK AND I GOT A LADY TRYING TO GET ME FIFTH THIRDS CREDIT CARD. TOLD THEM TO TAKE MY NUMBER OFF OF THEIR RECORDS AND THE VERY NEXT DAY, I GOT ANOTHER HANG UP FROM 866-849-0583.IF IT HAPPENS AGAIN I WILL BE FILING COMPLAINTS TO THE LOCAL NEWS, BETTER BUSINESS, THE PHONE COMPANY AS I AM ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST AND MY LAWYER.
