Same as other users. She said calling from BOA, for un argent matter. I do not have an account with them. She new my name and asked for SC.

Received voicemail stating it was urgent to call Bank of America. They had my business account name. I went online to the BoA site and saw no messages from them. Didn't call. Glad I checked here. I figured it's a scam.

SCAM!! Professional voice regarding compliance, processing, and monitoring department of Bank of America needing information to update customer profile.I called Bank of America and was told I didn't need to update anything as there were no notices on my account.

I received a call on my cell phone with an urgent call from Bank of America about my account, they even had a control number. Funny thing though - I don't have an account with Bank of America, never have!

Called stating she was from BOA asking for personal information to "update" our account. We don't even have a BOA account. Very unprofessional and hesitated when I asked her why she's scamming people, two seconds later she hung up.

Bank of America asking that I contact them immediately at this number to prevent my account being inactivated. I hung up and called Bank of America at the number on back of my credit card and not surprisingly they had no idea what the call was about.

Same deal as everybody else. She sounded very convincing, though. Beware!

I received a letter from BoA asking me to return a W9 form with personal information. Letter was only addressed to me with no acct# or last 4 digits of card. All my BOA accts. are joint so thought it was interesting - I took letter to my local bank. Today I received a phone call from this number - stating urgent matter - I was curious so I called to see what they said - they claimed to be BOA and tried to get my info. I told the guy I thought it was a scam, even though he kept telling me it wasn't. I told him it was fraud and I would be turning it into my bank and hung up.

got a message at home from Carlos of BoA's compliance dept., following up previous call about urgent matter. Had an 11-digit control #. volume sometimes soft so difficult to understand everything but thought he mentioned my ski club's name. The club has an account with BoA but don't know how they got my home number. i think it's a scam since the phone number is the same as the above.

Got a call from this phone number, or at least that is the number that appeared on the caller ID. Looked up the number and selected to place it on my call blocker, and when it read back the number to me it was completely different. The actual phone number that the scammer called from was 567-218-1081, not the 877 number.
