OK....postings like this really piss me off. Everyone wants to go after everyone and their brother these days. Let's take a step back and look at the entire picture here. You get calls like this because YOU OWE MONEY! And if you don't owe anything then why not pick up the damn phone and answer it and et the person know. Not answering it is a sign of guilt. Let's come out of the make believe world everyone lives in and step up to the plate and take responsilility for your actions. If you owe something.....you owe it. And if you don't, then why do you have to dodge phone calls all the time.It id judt crazy to keep reading all these [***] postings. PAY UP OR SHUT UP!

Fascinating how every time someone in a collections thread wants us to "look at the big picture" or "think about it", it's always within the tunnel vision perspective of "Pay Youse Bills" and blaming the victims. Quite a few of the responses here regard misdirected calls and billing snafus, *none* of which were caused by the call recipients. Runaway skip tracing is arguably the number one problem created by the debt industry. People are pelted each day by agency autodialers for the flimsiest of reasons whether or not they may owe something. } "Not answering ... is a sign of guilt."EVERYthing an alleged debtor does and says, and does not say and do, is a "sign of guilt" to you industry cheerleaders. The only "make believe" is your mantra that all call recipients are lazy and greedy liars like the collections reps. Seems to me the high volume collectors and small time extortionists have made lawbreaking into a business model. Where is the "responsibility" in that?The telephone is a primary bullying weapon of the collectors. It is a consumer's right to disarm the collector and take the discussion to a paper trail where it is harder for abuses to be committed. } "Everyone wants to go after everyone ..."Perusal of any civil court calendar will show that the same scofflaw collectors and junk debt buyers are by very far the main aggressors, who extend their lawbreaking with false affidavits and shoddy tricks. It is not a crime or a moral problem to defend your state and federal rights, holding the debt chasers to statutory rules of conduct. This, for the last bloody time, is a separate issue from any dollar amount which might be claimed, and yes, these firms must be held to the strictest standard of proof when that claim is challenged.

The # is an auto-call that quite annoyingly calls several times per day..I have nothing with citi-bank (if it is indeed legitimately from them) therefore no account # to give them..I feel it's a scam to get some unsuspecting people to hand over their account info...then the caller will use that # to purchase large & small ticket items Be wise..don't give any caller your acct. info over the phone!!!

This is HSBC or best buy card calling

They call seven days a week and say the calls won't stop until you startpaying. They start in the morning while I am still sleeping up until it's time for me to go back to bed at night.

I have been getting several calls a day. I have only talked to a person one time all the other calls that I answered there was no response. The one time I talked to a person they asked for someone I had never heard of, they are not looking for me but someone has used my Government issued cell phone #. After informing them that the number they have is not a good number to call I was told I would be taken off there list but sure as anything I continued to get call the following morning.

The compant is CREDIT CARD SERVICES the claim to lower your credit cards interest rate. Call serveral times a week. Have filed a complaint with the California States Attorney Generals office.. Hopefully this will help. Have Blocked the number on my phone too.

Called me multiple times at work. I have to look at my phone to make sure that it's not an emergency. Almost got fired. Stop calling.

classic phishing scam!! Look out!!

I've gotten 26 consecutive calls to date. I continue to return the call from another phone and advise them to remove my number. They ask for information such as my birthday or the last four digits of my social security number. I've told them that I have no plastic and that creditors do not call me. When they give me the line that they are not soliciting, I advise them again that I NEVER receive calls from creditors for any reason whatsoever and that if they worked for my bank they would know that. I have usually gotten a somewhat classier person who seems to have user friendly skills. BTW, I have been unsuccessful at blocking them via T-Mobile. I called my cell company and they wound up sending me the owner's manual for my phone. BFD!
