There's not ANY doubt whatsoever that this is a scam.Since 2008 (around 9 years now), this number has been reportedly used by someone claiming to be Wells Fargo.If you are NOT a Wells Fargo customer, block the number and save yourself some grief. My phone is lame and won't do blocking so I save numbers like this in a user profile I call AAsshole - it sorts right at the top because of the double As - and if they try calling again, my phone tells me it's AAsshole calling and I ditch the call.If you ARE a Wells Fargo customer, ignore the call and go into your branch - or call them with a number they supplied you such as on the back of your credit / debit card or in your statement - and ask them if there's any legitimate reason they're calling. If there is, deal with it. If not, return to your business and BLOCK THE NUMBER (as I advice to non-WF customers above) in the safe knowledge that it certainly is NOT Wells Fargo.And for any of you who continue to pretend that this really _is_ Wells Fargo, we know you're just PART OF THE SCAMMER'S TEAM and belong in prison.

I currently have an overdraft in my checking account from Wells Fargo. Even though I'm willing to make payment arrangements, I don't appreciate being harassed. I recently started working after getting laid off from my previous place of employment and doing my best to get back on my feet. If their behavior continues, I will report this phone number to the Federal Trade Commission. I'm not in the mood to play games with these people.

Calls 6 times a day and leaves no message

I don't even have any Wells fargo accounts.

This number is Wells Fargo collection department. Here is my issue. #1. Collection departments or agency's MUST COMPLY WITH CONSUMER RIGHTS. #2. Calling me 10 times a freaking day even when told not to call is NOT ALLOWED.I am going to get an attorney and Wells Fargo Banks collection WILL BE back in court.

Deff has to be wells Fargo they called my house n the caller I'd said well Fargo, 2 min later that 877 # calls my cell phone..

Calls 6-10 times a day and even on Sundays. I believe it is against collection laws to call before 8 am and after 8pm and on Sundays especially. When I question them they said they can verify info after I give them my Social security # or complete acct #. I won't cause I called Wells Fargo customer service and they said they do not make collection calls on Sundays and to go to their website and register complaint of this phone number to their fraud dept.

They immediately asked me for my full social security number....hahaha!...ugh...no. I said "Are you f*@n crazy? I'm not giving you my full social!" The guy on the phone said that's it's part of their script. What a scam.
