This call came from Wells Fargo. They call to remind you that your account(s) are overdrawn and work with you to make a payment. Gentleman was very nice and helpful.

Our office has been getting calls from this number for the past few days and there is no one on the line. One time somebody spoke up. The caller asked for the name of one of our employees. He didn't introduce himself until I asked him who he is and where is he from. Then that's when he said that he is Cody from Wells Fargo Bank. When I ask for his last name, he said they can't give out their last name. And then I asked for his number, he said that it's 1-877-647-8551. I called our local Wells Fargo branch and I was told that it could be a survey regarding their services. I am still suspicious about these calls because normally, survey callers would introduce themselves right at the start of the phone call.

This is in fact Wells Fargo Overdraft department. If you call Wells Fargo customer service and then ask to be transferred to the Overdraft department they will give you this number. They don't like giving out to much information because they can get in trouble if they start telling whomever answers that you owe money.

I received a text message on my cell phone to call Wells Fargo at this number or if i want to go online to end alerts, i was to go to www.wf.com. I went to that site and it had few words and the logo for Wells Fargo wasn't right. Very suspiscious of this site. I disdn't open it.

Called claiming to be Bill Me Later, wanting my credit card number or checking account number to pay past due bill. I told them I would be handling my bill on the website like I always do, and they said they no longer accept online payments. I hung up and called the number back and they didn't identify which company they were. Very suspicious, sounds like a scam. Am reporting to FTC.
