I called them back and the first thing he asked me was my social security number. I told him i wasn't giving it out and i've never ever had a wells fargo account. He pulled up the number they were calling and he said he was going to remove my number. Do not!!!! I repeat do not give them any information!!!!********* it is a scam *********
this were a legit banking call....firstly they would LEAVE A MESSAGE vaguely stating who they are and to please contact them. Not call 10x day and hang up when voicemail picks up. Additionally, II find it interesting that each web search hit for this number has someone SUPPOSEDLY that work for wells Fargo arguing and defending that number as valid.... Hmmmm what are odds that wells hired people to peruse the internet to fight their public relations issues??? I think not. SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't fall for it They need to be in prison.......
SCAM. they call every half hour for 9 hours, never leave a voice mail. I do not have an account with Wells Fargo, and I've had my number for 6 years. If it wasn't a scam they would at least leave a voicemail stating their business, simple as that.
I am getting this call at least 4 times a day every day for the past three days. I put in on my auto reject list so it doesn't even show up on my phone. How can I stop them from calling for good????

THEY CALL AND ASK FOR ME BY NAME WHEN I AM NOT AT WORK, BUT WHEN I ANSWER MY WORK PHONE THEY HANG UP. THEY DO NOT CALL ME AT HOME
After three weeks, the calls finally stopped. I did also receive a call from Wells Fargo - who actually left a message. If this is someone spamming as Wells Fargo, they never left a message. They also called every single day of the week including Saturday's and Sunday's. At least for now, they have stopped calling me.

This Is NOT Wells Fargo! It does seem legit, but it is NOT. I called Wells Fargo & they said no one called me. ALWAYS call the # on the back of your credit card no matter what company it is.
