OK, I spoke too soon - they are back again dang it! 2x today already. When will they just go away????

I had a call from this number...no message left....This is indeed a spoofed number (meaning the number itself may be legit, but is being used by someone trying to get information , Social Security number etc . by showing the number on your caller ID. They called my google voice number which I have had many years. I also do not bank with WF . They are Phishing (fishing) trying to get your information.

This is a fraudulent number, a scam.

I have worked for Wells Fargo Bank for several years and we constantly tell customers NOT to give out any bank account or personal information over the phone. A legitimate WF employee will NEVER ask you for this information. If there is an issue with your bank account, the person calling you would already have this number. Bank records can be retrieved using a person's first, last name, city, state. This is a total scam. Beware!!!

This is a number from the Overdraft Collections department at Wells Fargo Bank. It's like any other debt collector, and they generally won't give out last names if you ask. I use to work there and you would be surprised at how much effort people we called who put into finding out exactly who you are and threaten you.

Called office, hung up in my ear when I answered with company name. Guess it could be WF Overdraft Collections Dept. but you'd think if it really WAS them they could at least be polite and say "sorry, wrong number". I can (sort of) understand getting a company name and not wanting to ask for someone by name but just hanging up is almost always the MO of scammers.

This is a number pretending to be Wells Fargo Bank, but they obviously are not. When you call a bank they will ask you identifying information to access your account, that's normal because YOU called in. But if THEY call you and ask for access information such as; account number(s), D.O.B., SSN, etc. When they call and ask for that you're off info it is always fraudulent, even if it's a different number saying they're your different bank, card company, etcetera. Don't fall for it people. I've had a lot of work experience with credit card companies and I know what they can or can not ask when they call it when you call in. THIS NUMBER IS NO EXCEPTION 877-647-855, they're fake.

Receiving calls 4-8 times a day including Sundays. Called the number back and it said Wells Fargo Overdraft Dept. None of the incoming calls have left a message. I've had the fraud dept of other banks contact me and they left a message to return the call. But not this number
