Call received from this number, when answered message was from computerized voice, asked for zip code for verification, then told me my account was overdue $30 payment. They did not specify which credit card it was. Then told me they could help bring account up to date. I knew all my accounts are up to date so I hung up, suspecting this was a scam. This was second call from number in two days, was not home to answer the first.
On caller ID as "Toll Free". They never leave a voicemail.I do not answer any telephone call that I do not recognize as legit. After reading previous posts, I am a bit puzzled. I have an acct with USBank, but certainly do not owe them anything. I haven't ever activated the account. I agree with a previous message in which the person postulates that they are compiling "good numbers" for marketing. Disgusting.
Seriously it frustrates me when this number calls five times in a row. 8:58am, 9:50am, 11:18am, 12:26pm, and 1:28 today. I answered once and they didnt respond back. I just find this annoying.
Meant to say- I have a regular banking acct with USBank but have never activated the credit card that was sent when I opened the checking and savings accounts. So certainly, I do not owe them for the CC.
It can't be legit - because I have NOTHING of mine with US Bank...and I just missed that call....
Stop calling me!! I get called every hour...I don't have any credit cards so I don't understand.I called the number and they asked me for my phone number and then proceeded to tell me I was wrong they were not calling me because she could not find my phone number in her system!!! I get called every hour for days and then they hang up....don't know what to do?
I got a call from them 15 minutes ago. The guy yelled out me when I told them that I'd make a payment online instead of over the phone, despite the late fee. He continued to raise his voice and kept trying to get me to make a payment and kept trying to get my address. I called the 800 number back but they wanted to know my SSN or CC number to find out the specific person. I called customer service for US Bank and they verified that a collection agency did call me.
i would have your number changed. if everything is up to date and zero balance then you dont have to worry about them having your phone number. if they somehow get that number then change it again. eventually they might give up... just make sure your accounts are paid.
I received a call on my cell phone fromthis number. Each of the other posters have stated it was from US Bank. I do not have a US Bank credit card. I did not answer the call.
