Called me today, i did not answer, left no message.

Yet another roobocall from this invalid (spoofed) toll-free number arrived today, just 16 days since the last call on August 1. Once again, when the call rolled to voice mail, the caller left no message, just dead space.Since early July, many posters have reported serial harassment from this number-spoofing caller, an apparent out-of-work contractor offering to do home repairs. Apparently, this creep uses an automated dailer (a favorite of robocallers) to place calls. If a live person answers, the dialer transfers the call to a live, telemarketer. Slick, eh?According to one of the posters, when asked for a call-back number, the illegal telemarketer replies with (424) 777-9271, a phone number in Beverly Hills. Well, it ain't the Beverly Hillbillies!Foils, these guys have no services to offer; they specialize in wallettechtomy -- surgical removal of the wallet. They're not getting mine, and the shouldn't get yours, either.The number is invalid on its face, as there is no such 153 prefix on either toll-free or non-toll-free exchanges in the USA. Refuse to answer calls from unfamiliar numbers. Let your answering machine do this for you and foil the fraudsters.

A woman claimed she was calling to arrange appointment with contractor who would be in my area. She was speaking very fast...like she was in a hurry or was afraid I might interrupt her. I told her I was on the do not call list and asked her to remove my number. She said, "That hasn't existed in 10 years." I told her yes it does exist and to remove my number or I'd report them. She hung up and I reported them. Obviously not a real phone number...no prefixes begin with "1".

They want to do construction. I am on the DNC list. It's legit, this creep is not and I told them. They'll be blocked. These idiots can't be stopped by the DNC list because they are not legitimized businesses. Why does everyone think the DNC list will prevent crooks? It doesn't. Report them as a rogue telemarketer which is what they are.

389th number blocked on my landline. Now down to one or two nuisance calls per day. Lots of capacity left on my blocking device. Bogus number was easy to spot.

CID uknown and the 1 prefix not good sign. Didn't answer they left no message.

Same thing as others: when I answered, it was quiet and then when I heard noise it sounded like a room full of callers. I let them ask for me or Mr. T. When I told them to stop calling and take me off their list, I got, "Do you know your ignorant you sound?" These people need to be stopped!

This crack head keeps calling my landline . He called again today at 3:28 PM PST. I am going to GPS their business and bomb it. They are most likely terrorists or muslims doing it.

Called on my cellphone, no ID. No message. Blocked number

This invalid number just galled my home phone at 12:12 PM on 8/19/2016 with Out of area shown where name should be on caller ID so I did not answer and caller left no message. We all would like an explanation from any phone company why they allow invalid number calls to complete. Frontier who took over my home phone service from Verizon tells me they block such calls yet they continue to come through.
