i got same call from Curtis Payton Litegation, glad to hear its a scam, maybe we should all class action lawsuit them for something like harasment or mental distress lol Curtis Payton Litegation

Got the same call from the same number earlier in the week. I have a fInfineeling the company is changing its name from one to another to get whatever they can out of unsuspecting individuals. I called the number back, pressed 0, & was transferred from Curtis Peyton Litigations to Infinity Processing Solutions to Vince Gellar & Associates & finally got "Veronica".....

My cousin in visiting from out of state and got the same calls. Was told she needed to pay over $1000 TODAY! The [***] she talked to wouldn't let her speak. He kept talking over her and kept hanging up on her. I tried calling back for her and was transferred to two or three different companies. When I finally got a live person, I asked how to take care of this issue and was hung up on! Scam, Scam, Scam!!

I got a call from this number today from Charles, which is a recording. Says I will be served with apers at my home or work. Since I been down this raod with bad credit and trying to repair it, I knew this was [***] from the start. If they wanted to "serve" me with anything, they would not be calling from a unknown number an having a pre-recorded message. Total scam and im not going to even bother calling the number they left...

Got two recorded messages telling me to call 888-431-9131 (Curtis Peyton Litigation). Since I have no debts, I knew this was bs, but I called anyway. Someone answered then told me to hold. I hung up. Called back later and some chick named Julie sd there were other callers ahead of me, so I needed to be patient. I told her "you called me!" I told her to tell me why they were calling me bc I had better things to do. She claimed that I would be served with "criminal papers" on Tuesday but she wouldn't say who was pressing charges. Lol. I told her I work in the courthouse and knew there was no case pending against me, criminal or otherwise. Later, my daughter told me these same ppl called for me on HER cell, too. These people need to find legit jobs and stop bothering decent folks.

Got a call with "No Caller ID" on the screen, and did not answer. I then got a voice mail message from a Charles Dixon with a pause before a computer generated voice stated my name and said they had paperwork to serve me at my home or work. The message stated to call the plaintiff at 1-888-431-9131 with any questions. I blocked my number and called the number. It answered with a recorded message stating "you have reached Curtis Payton Litigation, if you have received a summons and complaint please let your representative know immediately". I waited, then a real person answered the phone and I hung up.

Today I have received calls on my home phone and cell phone. I called them back and advised them I have never banked with Wachovia and they advised me I had a debt from 2002 for $202.00 but now due to late fees the amount due is $806.00. They advised me the Sheriff Department will be serving me papers. I advsied them to go ahead. Not only that I advised them not to call me again and she raised her voice and stated they will continue to call me until I pay my damn debt and hung up! The call comes from 0103 and the message states Charles Dickson Law Office but when I call the number is says Curtis Payton Ligitation!

Got a call on 5/23 from an unavailable number, let it go to voice mail. It was a robo call from Charles Dickson. Called the number provided, they had my social and bank info from 9 years ago and demanded payment for a payday loan on the spot or I was going to be served. Told them I thought it was paid, they said that it was not and wanted over $1000 on the spot or a warrant was going to be issued on Monday (5/26). They were not aware that it was a holiday. Told them I could call then back on Tuesday. Did some research. There is no listing for a Payton Litigation. There is however a Payton Associates and they are a litigation firm. I called and the receptionist informed me that they are aware that there is someone using their name as a scam. That this is not the first time and that it appears that it jsut recently started up again. She said that the authorities have been contacted. They've been getting a lot of calls since last week when this started.

We received a robo call on our business phone, looking for a person who does not work here. The same message as "Charles Dickinson" who was going to serve papers to the place of business/home of the individual. The last time I checked, no one gives you adavance notice of being served with papers. That lessens the ability of serving papers to the defendant swiftly. If you knew you were being served, I would imagine you'd take great pains in making sure you weren't there to receive them.
