RWH, you are "very likely a" paranoid kook.It is Suntrust, they want to know if you are the one making charges on your card (i.e. fraud prevention).
Dimmy,If you ignore the call you will soon find that your card has stopped working. Instead of being so silly about it, you can always call the 800 number on the back of your card and ask them to connect you to fraud prevention. They will ask to verify some of your transactions and you will be good to go.Or, you can follow "Dimmy's" advice, and then try to explain to the waiter why your card was declined.Your choice.
The number is legitimately Suntrust fraud department. The message they left had my full name and information only Suntrust would have, and when I called back, they didn't ask for additional personal information, just asked that I repeat the info that they had left in their message. But, I do suggest that if you have doubts, call Suntrust customer service directly with the number on your card or statement, they can get you to the correct department.

My calls were being forwarded to this number and I have no idea how it happened.
They hung up. In the last ten days I've had unauthorized credit card charges and an identity theft related to a Medicare fraud case. I suspect this is related.

Medicredit I believe possibly is scam/fraud calls involving medical insurance, medicare. Courts WILL decide !!
