It is in fact GMAC. I have an account with them and they call from this number when I get behind on a payment.

They Called My Cell Phone 3 Times A Day Instead Of The House Phone & Said To "Please Wait For A Very Important Message" On My Voice Mail, So I Waited For Them To Pick Up & They Never Did Respond. So When I Called The Number Back, It Told Me It was "This Is GMAC & The Call Will Be Moniterd For Security Purposes."

They call me almost everyday to say my son is late with the payment. I know he paid it 6 days in advance. I am getting sick and tired of these calls. Do not call me again.

asking for someone who is not there. i continually tell them to take me off their list. they keep saying they will and keep calling me back. this is bordering on harassment. nope, this IS harassment. especially since it's a cell phone and they're looking for the guy who must have had this number previously.

call 3 or 4 times daily; it is outside agency hired by gmac but they continue even after vehicle paid for right hand does not know what left is doing; that is why we had to bail them out; next vehicle we purchase will be a toyota; these people are relentless!!!

Its GMAC...they call at least 3 times a day about my ex-fiances car payment. She has a 14 day grace period to make the payment. If they have not received payment the exact time its due they call me REPEATEDLY. I spoke to an account manager who demanded that i pay the owed balance as soon as possible. I questioned the person on the phone and after about 5 min of bullsh!t she finally said that it was overdue, but no fees, or action could be taken until the payment was at least 30 days delinquent. The payment is due on the 16th and i had this conversation on the 18th. They were DEMANDING payment over the phone 2 days into a 14 day grace period with NO penalties, and 28 days before any late fees could be tacked on. Crock of [***] and im tired of it.

GMAC is calling me every 45 minutes about a late payment and they don't even leave a message! I had to look up the number to find out who was calling me! Isn't this harrassment?

GMAC is harassing me with phone calls every 45 minutes and my payment isn't even 30 days late yet. They don't leave a message so I had to look them up online to find out who it was. I am going to make my payment in a couple of days, but if I try to tell them that, they will try to pressure me into making an immediate payment or a post dated payment. I tell them I can't promise the date of payment until I know the money is in my account, but will pay it on the website as soon as it clears, but they don't want to hear that and if I don't set a date to pay, they say I am refusing to cooperate. There are times I have talked to a representative and made an agreement, but I still received phone calls from them and nobody knew anything because it wasn't noted on my account. This is happening to my friend right now. They don't hold true to their word when making arrangements and charge late fees after saying there won't be any. Again nobody knows anything about this, not even supervisors!

Called asking for my account number. I have no account number with GMAC. I told them that and they said they would remove my number from their call list. They were not rude, and requested no other information from me.
