called me...when I picked up, they hung up....I re-dialed them, lady with foreign accent asked for my account number...not having an account number, they then wanted my social security number...which I did NOT give them...when pressed she finally said that she was representing an automoble finance company...regarding a loan balance.After telling them that I never had an auto loan they apologized, and said they would put my number on a do not call list.

This # calls me twice a day without fail, asking for my husband, since he's deployed they call my phone and ask me. Problem is they refuse to even tell me who they are or what they want, so I can't even begin to pretend to help. My husband does have an account with GMAC, but we're current on the payments. i told them a half a dozen times he's out of the country, he's got the message and with call when he can. I'm getting ready to change my # so i can sleep in the mornings.

They call before 8:00 am in the morning and leave no message.

I get several calls from this number a week. I have registered the number on the National Do Not Call Registry, and have spoken to their personnel by phone. The number is from a company called "Allied Services" looking to collect a debt from someone that does not live at my residence. I have asked them repeatedly to stop calling, but it never ends. My answering machine is constantly filled with their robotic messages to call them back. I want it to STOP!

Got a call from this number this morning - - a Saturday morning mind you! The person (foreign) asked for my wife. I said she's not available and he said they would call back. If this is GMAC or Ally, they have called up to 3 - 4 times a day and won't leave a message and leave cryptic messages to press this number and that number. I wish they would stop calling. Her payments are not late! Not sure what they want! Called the number back and it says, "this call may be monitored for quality purposes" and to enter my account number. Um, I'm not entering any account number information! Sounds like a SCAM!

This number is Ally Financial, the company that took over GMAC. I just got off the phone with them. Were calling me 6-7 times a day for my husbands account, which is in good standing. Apparently they don't know how to update their systems, they were not showing his November payment. Hello, I pay this bill every month before the due date online. Idiots!

Technically, they are GMAC, but they are contracted as a collection agency for GMAC. They get a piece of the action if they succeed in getting someone to pay-up.
