Received call today telling me he was from Windows??!!! Really I said and just what do you want? He said I have been having trouble with my computer and he was calling to help me fix it!! I laughed said I have a Mac and not having problems with it laughed again and said what kind of scam is this phone went silent except background noise then the man to which I could hardly understand anyway hung up!!!! These scammers are getting worse get at least one a day!!

So I called a wrong number last night, when I heard the name when they answered I knew I screwed up dialing. So I hung up right away. About an hour later whoever that was called three times in a row. I didn't want to answer, but I sent a text saying I dialed the wrong number. Then whoever it was threatened to file harrassment against me.At 4:40 this morning I get a call from 888 888 8888....I don't think it is a cooincidence that I recieved this junk call after that crap happened...Is this something other people can give out for them to scam you?

I received same type of call today. A call came into my cell phone and I answered. Then the phone started ringing in my ear and after 3 rings an Indian man picks up the phone and starts talking about how he is with Microsoft and that my computer has corrupted files, blah blah blah. I told him not to call back my number and hung up. 3 hours later phone rings from same number. I didn't answer. SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!! Grrrrrr

Have had 4 calls today from 8888888888 claiming to be a tech trouble shooting computer errors

I got a call form this number at 8:39 am today. My caller ID showed withheld, but I immediately looked up my phone account online, and it did show the number that the call came from (nice way to check-even if caller id shows withheld, unknown, or restricted).

Answered phone I then heard a ringing phone in the background. Then a foreign man said my windows computer was sending out error and some other kind of messages and that I needed to get in front of my computer so he could help me. Told him my son-in-law was a computer techi and if I had I problem he would be the one to fix it. He hung up on me immediately.

It was 12:30 AM!! Yikes, when you get a call that time of night you think it's an emergency so I answered from a dead sleep in an with a sharp expectant hello to an emergency maybe from the police or something!! I called it back too because it made me curious... no answer. Made me wonder if it's one of those calls that will show up on my bill for $900 or something!!
