888-888-8888 / 8888888888

For days on end I get anywhere from( 888-888-8888) 10 to 20 calls....and my carrier says change your number or get a court order to have this blocked. It doesn't seem fair or right that this has to happen in order to have a fishy number blocked. Just another way that shows how few rights we actually have in this life. It really ticks me off. I wish I had acess to their phone...I would love to call them a few million times to return the favoe of a nice disruption. Jerks!

Trying to sell male enhancement drugs.It seems it was outside the US.First of all, why would the phone companies allow 888-888-8888?The other thing I wanted to write about is a tip.For the people that have Verizon I would highly recommend IOBI at www.verizon.com/iobi, it does cost a little extra, but it has saved a ton of false/telemarketer calls. For example I have blocked this number (via my computer), so this will not happen again.And yes, it is sad that one has to pay extra to remove telemarketer loop holes, but IOBI can do such much more, so it is a very handy tool for other telephone things (go to the web site and check it out).

I'M 95& DISABLED IN MANY WAYS AT POINT. HARD ENOUGH TO GET TO ANSWER THE PHONE - ONLY TO HAVE THEM HANG UP. THE ID CALLER SAYS ITS FROM > A L L I A N C E C A R P E T < - I CALL THE NUMBER BACK AND IT CLAIMS I CAN'T CALL THAT NUMBER FROM MY AREA CODE - HELP!!!! WHAT GIVES

I don't know who this is that keeps calling the middle of the night but I gave it a silent ring tone so it doesn't bother me any longer. There is a disconnect notice on when I call the number. August 2009 Anyone with current info on this?

IF YOU FEEL THAT YOUR CALL WAS AT LEAST PICKED UP - THEN THEIR IN YOUR CITY BECAUSE FROM MY CITY - I GET AN OPERATOR RESPONSE SAYING I CAN'T DIAL THAT NUMBER. NOW WHAT NUMBER IN THE WORLD COULD I NOT CALL.MAYBE WE CAN TRACK THEM DOWN IF WE TRACK DOWN THE CITY?

I woke up last night at 1:00 and 5:30 am from this number. There was no one on the other end of the phone. This happened soon after I started to pay some bills online. Not a good way to wake up in the morning.

got a call from 888-888-8888 on my cell phone. I just switched to AT&T and brought my cell number over. Never received these types of calls with TMobile. I hope this is not related.
