888-888-8888 / 8888888888

I the past 5 minutes I ahve received 15 calls from 888-888-8888 and over the weekend another 40 calls. However they just stopped when I answered once. They ahve now stopped. This is really annoying.

I got a call from this number this past Saturday. It was a recording advertising a bus trip to Washington, D.C. to protest Barack Obama's plan to nationalize health care, which it said was scheduled for next Saturday. Included in the recording was "I hate these kind of calls". They can't hate them that much or why would they be making them? 888-888-8888 couldn't possibly be a real phone number, but I *69ed them and that's the number they gave me. This looks to me like somebody who doesn't want to be known. There was no chance to speak to a live person or number to press if you don't wish to receive their cals. This all seems very deliberate to me.

I keep getting call from this number 5 in two minutes

I had the same thing happen to me last night at 2,215,230. Scared me also.

I normally do not answer any calls that's not on my contacts list. If it's important you'd leave a message. This strange number called my cell phone on 06/16/2008 at 3:25p.m., and then again at 6:52p.m.Thanks GSCS, I am going to file a complaint.

Received a call from this number on my cell phone today at around 5pm. I knew immediately from the caller ID that it was some form of telemarketer or scam so I decided to have some fun with them. I answered. For about 10 seconds there was Spanish sounding music and then a male voice (MV) came on the line:MV - Who am I speaking with?Me (in my best pre-recorded voice) - You're speaking with a phone number on the do not call registry. You have just been reported to the US government. Goodbye.I remained on the line until the caller hung up. I then went and reported them to the Do Not Call Registry.

I have received approx 50 calls that I still have on my caller ID. Same problem with others. Rings right after each other. I tried to take my phone off the hook but soon for some reason it goes back on. I get these call from early am to late at night to in the middle of the night. No onesays anything or it rings 2x's then rings again then 5x's. They have got to track who's calling with todays technology. Can the phone company allow us to block such numbers coming from our home phone. Please help

I got a call from this number at 420am on my CELL PHONE! What the %$#&$&#$$%@I didnt answer then had message, but didnt leave one. I thought cell numbers were unlisted so how did they get my number?

To the last person that posted this where they got the call 8:59 MST Im on MST also and just received the call again 5 min prior to you. Something has to be done

I received one righ before 3 this morning and one at 6. I work out of town, so that was not very cool at all!!!
