The debt that you collect is debt that you buy from original debitors. Guess what? If that borrower or card holder does not have a written contract with you....Then you legally can't collect. Check the Laws..And being that I work for the Federal Govt. I will be more than happy to give all the info like collectors home address, home phone number where parents live. I will let the ones who owe the money or not, call the collectors home, family members just to see how they like it. So next time you buy a debt, just remember you screwed your employees that work on cold calling.

My son had a T-Mobile account under my name when he was 17. He moved several times and failed to notify T-Mobile. The DCI person gave me the T-Mobile account number and phone number and waited online while I called T-Mobile to confirm the charges.
Guess again, scum! I paid the bill, and I STILL Get harrassing bills- and repeatedly get demands to re-fax PROOF - eat my shorts - this is harrassment pure and simple
Yes they called my house today for a person that does not live here in my home, and they are very rude I had explained to them that they have the wrong number and the wrong person living here! they asked if the person is there and again I explained that you do have the wrong number and that person does not live here, again I asked to speak to the manager and got a rude one with my luck. So I called again and spoke to a nicer person in their company and I hope he took care of the problem.
Incredibly rude guy who called himself "Joe Gonsalves" called my father's cell phone looking for ME. Then when I got on the phone proceeded to claim I owed money to T-Mobile for some account in collections. When I told him I had never had an account with T-Mobile, his line was "You don't know who you're dealing with, b---h."Let's just say I don't handle threatening language too well. I have already sent a cease communications letter to these clowns, as well as filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau, Florida attorney general and Federal Trade Commission. I could tell as soon as I got on the phone this was one of these bottom feeder scam collection agencies. If they call you, you dont' have to take their harassment, just remember that.
Of course this agency is operating in illegal manners! The so-called VP has debt collectors calling HIM non-stop because he does not pay his bills! What happened to your house that got foreclosed on? How come they came and took your car? If he can't and won't pay His OWN bills then how the heck can he run a collection agency????? Oh, yeah...operate unethically....Gordon sure has that one down...don't you Gordon?My advice for individuals receiving these calls is to understand that this industry is FULL of bullies! They lie, they cheat, and they do not pay their bills.
I received several calls from 877-299-1999. They never leave a message. Today I answered it, dead silence then click. I called the number back, an automated message said someone will be with me soon. Dead silence again. Pissed me off. Right after I hang up I receive a call from 904-247-5500 the guy said he was from DCI. He's trying to collect a debt which I paid 6 months ago. He told me to go to www.paydci.com They said they sent me a bill in the mail, but it was an old address. I said if he sends me a bill in the mail I will look at it and call them back. He said the 3 to 4 calls I receive from them each day will continue tell I pay the bill. I told them to Cease and desist all calls to me, because I have spoken with you and I told you I would look at the bill and call you. If you do not cease and desist it will be considered harassment.
