Left message on my cell phone, sounded professional, did not identify company they were collecting for. After reading a few posts I'm sure it is T-mobile. After having T-mobile for 7 years, they started raising my bill each month. The first time $64.00 too high, they said I was over minutes usage, I was 1200 minutes under. They agreed and corrected it two months later. The next month it was sixty dollars too high, theysaid I made two long distance call, wrong, I know no one over seas.I was paying around $70.00 each month. A friend of mine suggested AT & T. $45.00 a month...unlimited minutes and texting...free internet access...no hassles with not what your bill is going to be each month. If T-mobile corrects my bill I will pay it, if not...oh well. I would suggest any with T-mobile check their bill very carefully.
There is good money to be made from Diversified Consultants. They were the defendants in around 29 lawsuits in 2009 & 2010. In 2011 there are already 9 more cases . Burke v Diversified Consultants Inc in Florida Middle District Court:, Hochstrassen v Diversified C in NY Eastern Dist Court; Bermudez v Diversified C in Ma Dist Court; Rias v Diversified C in Fl Southern Dist Court; Madondo v Diversified C in Fl Southern Dist Court; McArdle v Diversified C in NC Western Dist Court; Anderson v Diversified C in Az Dist Court; Gutierrez v Diversified C in Ca Cntrl dist Court; and Andre v Diversified C in Tennessee Western Dist Court. Better join in on the fun before they run out of money.
You claim to be a former collections trainer, yet you are incorrect regarding the fines and your verbatim...Collection Agencies are only required to cease and desist communication with debtors if the debtor submits something in writing. A verbal cease & desist only stands in a few states. The fine can be up to $1,000 per claim-not occurence.
Contact the agency and calmly explain your situation. In most cases the collector may be able to offer you a settlement (discount your bill).
Unless your the debtor,If you are the debtor (person in debt)then folks just pay your bills, or tell them you have no intent to pay!!! SAY THE WORDS I REFUSE TO PAY,easy - stop wasting your time and there's and if your not the person SAY IT!!! Now I agree if your still going threw it after all that then contact an Attorney there on the TV constantly,You are right you don't need to be harrassed but how are these PEOPLE (not just collector's) supposed to know if you don't answer your phone! We are not all these nasty people but sometimes with all the lies we are told and the attitudes we get what the hell do you expect! Easiest way to get them off your back 1)Cease and Desist letter make sure you write the numbers being called 2)File BKR chap 7 or 13 (just being realistic) make sure you give company this attorney info.As for work calls FDCPA-Collectors can call work up till you say STOP CALLING MY JOB OR I'M NOT ALOUD PERSONAL CALLS-as for your cells and home#'s I gave you the answers you seek-WE ARE PEOPLE TOO!!!
Dearest Debt Collector: The final sentence in your reply to Laurie on January 8 2008, contains an error. You say, "You write way to much, "Laurie". The correcct spelling of to in this instance is too, which means excessive.
Dumb [***]! We don't buy the debt...... The debt is only 30 days old so [***]!!!!!!!!
