The reason you're hearing from friends of students is because they don't want to attach their name to their complaints for obvious reasons. Oh, I'm sorry, I guess not too obvious for some minds.
Hey Butterfly, just to let you know, pieces of paper do not a successfull interior decorator make. Ditto for the real estate agent. I studied interior design at two colleges for four years. Here's my advice. Forget decorating - go for design - at a university. Then know that it is talent that will get you the jobs. Employers want to see your portfolio not your certificates. I'm not a real estate agent but I was in sales and in that case it's your "aggressive, go get 'em" attitute that will make you money. So reach for the stars but just remember that they are a lot higher than staging diploma.
you can still get 31.44 an hour if you make your payment before this fridaythe reason why the pay is as low as 24 whatever an hour is because they opened business in the states and thier pay started at 24 whatever so basically they just balanced it outthere was more to it but yeah .. . ..
you are right, i also did a check and found that they have been in business for almost a year with no problems. no lawsuits, no court cases, nothing except for people on here who want something for nothing
PLEASE someone show me a BETTER OFFER in home staging course??? who else stands behind their course with money back gaurantee of any type ??? sure there may be the "fine print" but I see no scammer
this company is real !! go visit their office in toronto or their distribution center for books. The ones you need to watch out for are companies with just a website operated out of someones basement. I am taking the course now. sure there is work to do , they dont mail you a certificate after they get a check. If you do NOT have an interest in home staging, then DON'T take the course !and let the rest of us put in the effort. It is not a get rich quick scheme
way to go. lodge a complaint!! about the site, clearing the cache and cookies is what IT people like to say because it's what they think works best. i have my computer set to clear every day. i have no history. to clear the cookies, all that does is make it a tad longer when returning to a site that you have been to before. cookies are like the "dog ears" that little corner of a page that gets folded down in a book to mark the page you were last on. the cache is the history of the sites you have been to. all that info. computers (most times) are default to keep this info upto 20 days. why i say, do you need it to do that? so, i set my computer up a long time ago. sometimes, it is their server. so, maybe this godaddy.com is the one with the issues. i don't know. but it seems to be a site you might have to pay for to use.anyway. it's odd. but i was on the facebook site (for students against them) and read the new posts. has anyone read today's news and notices on haverhill about their new hire. still not bling/andrea.but still someone with credentials.
I'll accept your apology after you've read the entire blog. At which time you'll have learned that I am writing on behalf of my friend who has enrolled in this poorly run but rapidly expanding "school". Since Feb. 2008, the working hourly rate for a graduated student has gone down at last three times, from $41.25, (when my friend enrolled) down to $24.00. Now on H&G the TV ads say a yearly amount. I can understand an institution raising tuition but lowering expected earnings is a new one. Defend that.Oh, by the way, oh great defender of Haverhill, my friend graduated. Yep she got a B-. The marks were emailed to her on the last day before a refund was going to come. They even told her, and I'm not making this up, that there was to be NO in-class training and NO field training. But she's still an accredited HOME STAGER, with no real practical knowledge of home staging. That's like teaching someone to swim without him or her ever going in the water, (or commenting on a blog without reading it). Defend that. How is that even legal? My friend signed up to learn to be a home stager. It has been her dream for years. Now she's left with a USELESS piece of paper and down $1200. I do mean useless because her perception of Haverhill stinks. Same as lots of people. She won't associate her good name with their increasingly disreputable name.Haverhill may be just going through some growing pains. But in the end their behavior, (badly organized, growing quickly), is indefendable by anyone.
i looked it up. the stagingsource issue. it says it's a parked page. so, here is what their glossary stated:Parked Page A Parked Page is a temporary web page that reserves the domain till the Web site or hosting is active. Domain owners are able to reserve their domains with a Parked Page for any time frame necessary without a penalty. Parking Parking reserves a domain that is inactive. Parked domains will display a temporary Web Page until the site is active.
