I hope you didn't take the course...

i am now dealing with the BBB. danielle responded to them saying "She was provided an opportunity to improve her grades and chose not to." that is a total lie. it is 110% (yes, i mean 110%) bull sh**! i submitted the work on jan. 22/09 and received a receipt and then my profile was updated to state "Home Study Course Received by Haverhill: 22-Jan-2009"now they are lying. this company is truly scamming everyone, now they are trying to scam the BBB with lies to get out of this matter.

So TRUE...do not believe the commercial..you are hired as a telemarketer and then you give up because you are losing even more money and time! See their website for the up close details and what your day entails if you're hired which will take more than 3 months after you are eligible...believe me!

What is this all about? I went to check on Haverhill's rating with the BBB, and it says: "No rating. BBB's information on this company is being updated, and no report is available at this time."What is that all about? When I checked last week, they were up to 14...

Not rated file conditionsA "No Rating" rating will be displayed under any of the following circumstances:BBB does not have sufficient current information about the company to issue a full report BBB report is either under review or being updated. BBB file indicates the business has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. BBB file indicates the business is believed or confirmed to be out of business (OOB). The business’ TOB type is Category 5 (“Not Rated”). BBB issuing the report does not process complaints against the business, but rather refers them to another BBB. BBB determines a "No Rating" is appropriate because There are numerous pending complaints or one of more pending serious complaints, OR BBB believes the assigned grade does not represent an appropriate indication of the BBB’s confidence that the business is trustworthy and will make a good faith effort to resolve any customer concerns. so, i am assuming there are several complaints filed against them now.good!!!! we all need to get our money back.

I failed the course because I did not use a straight-edge to cut out my assignments and my tradesmen did not respond to haverhill verifing my contact made to them---my tradesman were internet home-handyman services that are legitdo not take this course

I too am a Haverhill Stager, This stuff on here is quite ridiculous! I am blown away by eveything on here!Lacey, Haverhill offers a course where if you pass with 80% you qualify for employment. If you are not employed for some reason after qualifying.. you are eligible to recieve you money back. read the course guidelines and conditions. I took my course last fall, passed with flying colors my first try and was hired right away. I've been working with them for 6 months and make a really good living doing a super fun and exciting job.DON'T YOU ALL THINK THAT IT MAY BE POSSIBLE THAT MAYBE YOU JUST DIDN'T HAVE WHAT THEY WERE LOOKING FOR? Or possibly didn't carry out the course as required? Doesn't a company have the right to filter who represents them? The answer is Yes.. and I am happy to represent them :)For all you who are looking to possibly take the course - and hope to be hired.. the course is full of great info. So work hard and you will pass - if you don't get hired you will get your money back and leave with hands on experience which not many other courses do! BTW We have a lot more stagers than people think! But I'll just let the pesimists think that its a scam so that they feel better about failing miserably.

I have been through the course. I know first hand what these people had to face. Changes happened along the way for me as well and there was waiting involved. And yes, you do have to figure out some things on your own because Haverhill is not always there holding your hand. If you require constant hand holding and support how are you ever going to make it as a home stager where you have to work on your own, and make decisions? Also, in home staging nothing is ever black and white. Things change and you must adapt. If you can't adapt to minor changes in a course how can you adapt in the field? I'm sure Haverhill considers all these things when it comes to which students will make the best employees.I'm sure many people thought they workied hard and many others actually did try hard. At this point, you must consider talent. maybe it just wasn't there. (I like you have not seen their actual work so you can't say it's brilliant and we can't say it's awful)I'm just saying, who are we on this board to say that Haverhill was wrong in giving some a low mark? Chances are they deserved the mark they got. Actually I'm quite sure of it.I have paid attention to what people are complaining about and they are similar things that I had to overcome. I am also understanding of a new company that is going through growing pains and changes are necessary to make things better for all students. Anyone that has ever owned a business will understand why these changes are necessary.I come in here occasionally and see all the Haverhill bashing that is going on and I sometimes make comments from a positive point of view. I'm sorry this is not want you want to hear but for others that are simply researching Haverhill my positive comments are necessary to make an informed decision. If they only see negative things from people who did not get their desired result they will think only negative things about Haverhill. I am here to say, I have had only a positive experience! With the course, with the other students and the Haverhill team itself. ALL wonderful people. I am so happy!As for listening skills.....people hear what they want to hear. It goes both ways. You only hear about those poor people who worked so hard and was ripped off by the big bad company. I hear people complaining that it is impossible to do things that myself and many others have actually accomplished. It is not impossible. They do actually hire their students. I am one.I will not be on these message boards much in the future. I am very busy with work and helping students who message me in the FB group. If anyone wants to talk feel free to message me. I do use my real name here unlike many others so I am easy to find. But I will not continue to add fuel to this fire. I feel bad that people are disappointed and they never achieved their dreams. However, if the time spent bashing Haverhill was replaced with effort put towards that dream it can be accomplished.
