i wanted to enroll to course.so went for interview here in Toronto they are located at Sheppard & Yong.but funny thing happened on the stand in lobby there was a different company name instead of haverhillso like if i need to go to 7 floor office # 72 it`s will say floor 7 # 72 haverhill right no apparently notit was totally difrent company so haverhill for some reason lied about they location.at this moment i thanked higher power for stopping me loose hard earned money.
not being rude to you Lacey by any means!!!! :)Just letting all the CrAzY's out there know whats up lol
Keep watching, you will see it, I started officially today. It should appear in the next week or soand again, feel free to contact me if you have any questions (facebook) but I can't be a part of this any longer. I will answer anyone who isn't being rude through private messages but I can't feed this fire.
are you aware you need to find your own clients? haverhill has also changed the pay rate. they were bought out this past summer and are not hiring anyone---so, do not take the course
The problem is that no one knows what they are looking for because it is not that concrete! It is too abstract and subjective to be clear like a normal course. I have worked hard and know how to follow directions but when directions change or are extremely vague then no one can follow them. I have a Ph.D. and two Masters degrees and believe me I know how to work hard. They must have liked your picture.....
I was wanting more info on the trainig course you are using (Decorate-ReDecorate). I am so glad I found this site. I was considering Haverhill. I have a design degree but haven't practiced in about 14 years. I am interested in becoming a stager but need to just get my feet wet again and get advice on finding contacts etc. Do any of you have experience with Staging Divas? I'm in teh Houston area. Yalls feedback would be awesome...Can't beleive all I read about Haverhill. They look so professional with the ads on HGTV and such!!
talk about unprofessional. i read some of your comments on facebook. you are just as guilty. a lot of us worked real hard, studied, resubmitted assignments, took the test a few times, but still, those of us who don't seem to make the grade are the majority without prior education and knowledge of interior decorating or real estate. how dare you say those things without seeing the effort we made. some of us can't even get the people at the office to respond to our request to follow up with us. that is EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. i know. following up with a client is top priority in my book. even if i don't have the answer just yet, to call the client and touch base, it is not only professional, but curtious too.andrea, you are not any better than the rest of us, you only have a bit more education than us. i will say it again, there was no training, no teaching in this course. this is what i expected. to be taught what i didn't already know, to learn new things. but that's not what happened. and again, i think you will only be a glorified assignment checker. since i really don't think this company stages any homes.
Funny that you say that they don't really grade your work because the teacher marked me down for not turning on all the lights in an outdoor space called a "lanai" that has nothing but pure Florida sunshine. I feel that if the sun is not enough light for her then I just give up! The room was totally outdoor screened in room. I don't think she was looking at the picture nor reading the words about the space. Amazing isn't it?
Stager...are you from Haverhill? You are so full of it! Haverhill is an absolute scam! There is no training, there is no support, they provide nothing but a few workbooks that do not explain anything and require that you do work that is not clearly described. Then after you send them the work, they have someone fail you so that they don't have any obligation to hire you. There are no logical or reasonable explanations as to why you were failed and there is no guidance whatsoever to allow you to do the work "correctly". There is no logic in the grading and the people are very rude. Thanks a lot for stealing $ 1,000 from me...on top of the money that you stole I had expenses of more than that to do the work for the course...thanks a lot!Just because Haverhill is on HGTV does not mean that they are legitimate...stay away from them! The best con artists are those who you can tell are scam artists...Haverhill is one of them.
Thats awesome, thanks for clarifying - that is good news then because it means that something has changed since last week - most likely that there are several complaints that they are investigating (one of them being mine -tee hee). So, I see you had a wee chat with our little Andrea today... Interesting little conversation there, lets hear from her in a couple of months and see if she has the same tune.
