Called my phone yesterday and didn't recognize the number. No message, number blocked.

They called today and when the answering machine picked up they hung up with no message. Blocked the number. Caller ID just identified them as unknown.

Called my New York City cell phone number, I did not answer and no message was left.

Realize my response is a couple of years after the original post, but I have a different point of view. Remember the Dish TV calls? Gone. In some way connected with our reporting to federal agencies. Heather from "your credit card company" was also fined, if I remember correctly. Just recently a joint effort between US and Indian authorities arrested a couple of hundred scumbags that were calling and threatening people with jail for unpaid taxes. There have been several others that I remember, and some of them were shut down because of citizen complaints. There are, for sure. new frauds every day - but our combined reporting to the feds will help to weed out some of them.The best use of sites like this is:You get a call or two or more from the same number.Check here to see who the call was from.If they are violating the dnc list or are attempting to defraud the public, call the appropriate agency and file a report.Once they see a trend, my observation is they will eventually investigate the worst offenders and act against them.Sorry for the wordy post, but every one we get shut down saves someone big money.Rick

"Private Caller" Did not answer. No message left

1/11/2017. No message left. Caller Id said: Big Bear Lake

Caller ID read MDS Comm. Didn't answer and they left no message. Will be blocked

Gone for nearly 4 months. They're back. Left no message. Caller ID is "9093664126".

Answer but don't say anything for 4 or 5 seconds. Mimics call blocker. They will disconnect if it is a robocaller.
