i just received a call from (909) 366-4126 on my cellphone - at 7:51 p.m. at night. I don't answer calls If I don't know the phone number. I always let the call go to voice mail; if it's important they will leave a message - They did not. It really irritates me to receive 'UNKNOWN' phone numbers on my home phone, much less my cell. Do Not Call registry doesn't work. I thought there was some kind of state or federal law that companies/corporations anyone but individuals, are supposed to have a name or some kind of identification with their phone calls. My call just says "Pomona area".
So, scammers can make the caller ID show whatever they want. This seems like a scammer that is pretending they're calling from the fax number of a charity, but they have nothing to do with that charity. Just block it and move on.
