It's very simple to stop these calls. There is a recording somewhere online of the three tones the phone company plays when a phone number is not in service. What you do is get the recording and when you get one of these calls answer it then play the recording. The calls should stop especially if it was a robo call.
Called at 7:00 PM. Rang three times then hung up. CID said California. Like others, I do not answer if I don't recognize the number. I see this has been going on since 2012. Five years? Seriously, why can't these people be stopped? Do not call list is a joke.
Received call from this number 909-366-4126 around noon-time while at work. NO MEssage was left. This is a JUNK CALL!
This call came at 1:26 p.m. PST. They left No message or recording. Since I did not recognize the caller, I did not pick it up.
I called the (909)366-4126 back and it's now a phone number being used by a charity fund raiser. Second call from this organization in a couple of days.
I got one from this number today as well. The call came in at 1:11PM pST today. On my caller ID, it just says the number and CALIFORNIA. When I answered the phone there was no one there and hung up after about a minute.

I received a call at 11.50 a.m. on 14 January 2015. I called back. The person who answered identified herself as affiliated with St. Jude Children's Hospital and asked for my wife. We regularly give to St. Jude's. I asked to be taken off the list. She said she would do so immediately and apologized for the disturbance. She was very polite.
