No it's not. It belongs to MDS Communications. They solicit for charities. They are scum bags! Everytime I get a call from them I let that charity know directly by e-mail that I will never donate again to them as they use 3rd party solicitors who use underhanded tactics.

Actually picked up this call this afternoon. Caller didn't identify her self or her organization, but requested someone with my last name, but a different first name. When I told her there was no one here by that name she politely apologized and said she would update their records. Actually pretty cordial call. I was wondering if someone was trying to put a trace on someone with a similar name as mine, but I see that others have reported that Heifer uses this number. I have donated several times to them, so maybe their records are just wrong?

Exactly, same here , same number same caller City team They have me on file as I send them a donation every X-mas .

Here's a News Flash, not only will they not take your number off any list your number and thousands of others is a commodity traded or sold to other charities! Do you know what the difference between telemarketers and charities is? That would be about 20 ft, charity callers on the left telemarketers on the right on the same floor and building. You ever wonder why so many charities outsource their callings? It doesn't matter to them who or how these companies illicit donations! If anybody really gives a [***] and brings up any serious issues they will say they were unaware and will look into this matter. [***] all of them!

I get a call from 909-366-8557, caller id shows: Big Bear Lake CAThe lady is RUDE!Say's I owe money from 2 years ago.She reads off my ss#, my address, my email, everything.Then she proceeds to say "I need to pay now or I will be sent to jail!"I was polite at first and said this is not my issue or concern. I don't care if you have my information etc.I owe nothing and you need to call my attorney.She then replied "You don't have an attorney"And oh yes --I DO!But she was too immature to listen or understand so I hung up on her.She proceeded to call my work phone several times, and my cell number several others.She is a SCAM!

I used to work for one of thos companies....that acepted outsourcing for lots of charities and did their fundraising....

I agree. Buy a Zapper and a black list monitor. I have both and from time to time put numbers on my black list. Once their I can see the caller ID but no ring. A friend I accidently put in the list told me as soon as he called me he heard the signals of a fax machine and then everything went blank. We went from multiple calls a day from this sort of caller to almost none.

I just revived a call from this # and didn't answer. No message was left. Call I'd says "Pomona Area"
