Thanks for this service. They called on my cell phone but I don't answer any callers with "unavailable" showing. I'd be happy to take their call otherwise. Now, at least, I know who they might be.

Dear 'Collector':In response to your stateement 'not all collection agencies are terrible'.... maybe all of the agencies out there aren't terrible, however the rude undertones of your post here actually proves the point that others are/were making here - collectors are, in general, RUDE, HATEFUL, SARCASTIC. Perhaps this person DIDN't try calling the # back, and came to this website first in an attempt to determine who this caller is so that they can gather the information that will be necessary to refer to when returning the call (like I just did) - did you ever stop to consider that one?

This no. was dialed up to four times in one day on my phone log, and sporadically during the following week.I recently had corrective surgery on my back and was told that everything except for a deductible of 2,250 would be covered 100 percent as long as everyone was in my network. I did make sure to ask before receiving any treatment that my doctors or other staff were approved of, however my bills seem to be piling up around me and every month my credit score is diminished. Make sure that you also ask for this approval in writing! I am not sure if they do that. In my haste regarding the surgery, I was just worried about walking or even surviving my surgery that I did not see this coming. I hope that this helps someone that is about to make a similar decision. Today for the first time a William Pike left a message, but only with a return number and ext. telling me to call him back. I don't answer calls from people I don't know so I am glad I found this site. William Pike's no. 866-407-0200. ext-2022. I have a lot of collection bills due to my medical, and even one sent a check because they billed me too much. I wouldn't want my worst enemy to go through this, and I feel much empathy for the others on this site being harassed.

I'm sorry about your situation-I experienced somewhat the same thing. These people(the ones out of Kansas) are Affiliated Management Services.Evidentaly they lost some lawsuits sometime this year and were bought up by Synerprise from Texas (which is good for me because synerprise has a better net worth to sue against. I have documented with the help of the telco 219 blocked calls from this company in a four month period-sometimes as many as 12 calls per day. This is harrassment. I also have recorded their stupid chantings and demands as well as their threats to place a lein on my home-which they can not do without a judgement from a court. They are not licensed in my state . They knock on my door, then run away like a little kid. The first time they did this, they came back in just a few minutes and did it again--there was a 38 S&W about 4 inches from the guys head(on the other side of the door)in case he tried to get in. Here's the thing--I won a case against another collecter for all kinds of violations-I was patient and documented all contacts. I won BIG !I am in my early 50's and retired.(Thank you bill collectors)I have a lot of time to "trap" these a--holes--so that's what I do.My point to you is-don't get upset-that's what these dumb little boys count on and it works 99% of the time. Legally you do not have to pay anything you don't want to-You may not be able to have anything in your name(house or car or securities) and they can mess up your credit--but they (the collection agency) can not put you in jail, put a lein on your home, garnish your wages or any of the things they say they can do. Pretend you are dealing with the local McDonals hamburger joint-they have about the same legal power-PLUS- if you catch them in an illegal practice;you may own their "Golden Arches" !!!!! READ the federal laws governing these people and do not be intimidated by them.

They also left really strange messages on mine phone. The message always sounds like someone is drunk dialing. Very weird.
