We have been receiving phone calls from this place under about 13 different numbers for the past 6 months. I believe this is part of the 'breach of information' that was on the national news last year, regarding privately owned hospitals and medical practices. Our local hospital is owned by one of these privatized places and my husband sought treatment in their ER last August. He was not admitted, there was no radiology or other outside departments involved in his visit, just an ER doc diagnosing him and telling us to go to our family doctor first thing on Monday AM (we were there on a Saturday night). We have excellent medical insurance through his work, so we paid our co-pay and out the door we went.About a month later, we started getting calls about owing the hospital $700, which is not even possible since our insurance covers everything except our co-pay. It wasn't a call from our hospital, but from this Schumacher Group or whatever they're called. I answered the phone and told them to send us a bill in the mail so we could see the charges. We got a bill in the mail in a week's time. There were no lists of charges, just our hospital's name and a dollar amount. No itemizations or even a hint about our co-pay being paid. I took the bill to our hospital's billing department and the lady there said we owed nothing and to contact the state's attorney general to inquire about a fraud investigation, which we did, and haven't heard anything back since then.A month after all of this started, we started getting calls from Synerprise. No one ever left a message. One night, just after New Year's this year, these idiots called me at 11:43pm. I answered the phone thinking it was an emergency since no one ever calls that late. I heard noise in the background, like someone was calling from a bar or something. After saying hello about 7 times, a middle-eastern guy said to pay the $700 or we would all go to jail. I asked him what the heck he was talking about, and he replied that not only would we all go to jail, but we'd all be murdered in prison. I called him some choice expletives and promptly hung up.Believe it or not, this is not the worst thing this company has done. We just checked our credit scores, as we do once a month, and THESE IDIOTS ARE REPORTING THIS NON-EXISTING DEBT TO ALL 3 CREDIT AGENCIES!!! We don't even know how this is possible, but within a month, my husband's credit score has dropped 65 points! This is the only 'delinquent account' being reported. Everything else is in good standing. We are filing a complaint against them to the credit agencies for falsely reporting a debt and anything else we can get them on. We printed out our credit score reports to send copies to our state's AG. Maybe someone will do something about them now.I only typed our story up to warn all of you getting phone calls from these jerks to check your credit reports too and make sure they aren't reporting. Good Luck all!
This company has called my cell # several times over the last month. They ask for my daughter - I don't give them her # because I didn't know who they were or what they wanted. So I looked it up on-line and found this!! I clarified with my daughter that she has NO OUTSTANDING bills. She is a full-time student and NONE of her student loans are yet up for payment. They gave me a # to have her call them back - 866/407-0200. They said they couldn't tell me what it was about because she's over 18 and my name isn't on any of their paperwork (but they have MY cell number????!!!!!!)
no that's not true, I had already paid the hospital directly and this co called me consistently stating that the hospital did not inform them of this. I never even got a notice from this company before they began to call. I have had to give them the dates and amounts and authorization numbers for all of the transactions. I finally told them to call the hospital that they are representing because they had already been paid. I even double checked and the hospital says they have been paid. they don't know why the co. they use keeps calling me.
They called...yes it is for collections on one stupid little hospital bill I keep neglecting. They took a payment over the phone and appear to be legit...kinda glad they called espn since he said I would not be reported as being in collections.
This company called my landlord who contacted me. I called the collector, denied the debt and told them not to call my landlord. They called the landlord again. Now I'm getting threats of eviction from my landlord even though I've never been late with rent. The land Lord calls me now a week before rent is due to tell me if it's late I'll be in breach of my lease.
Quit calling my number. I don't owe you any money and this is my phone number not who ever your looking for. If that is what your trying to do. My next action will be to complain to the Texas Attorney General.
i sympathize with u about TXU...customer service is horrible...& when THEY screw up, u will NEVER speak to an american...i have demanded to speak to someone in texas...i got transferred to yet another latino speaking broken english calling himself mike...this isn't anything against any particular nationality, but if u are going to field customer service calls, either get some training or learn how to do more than read a script...
omg, the most rude person at that number. It is a collection company. They have called my number numerous time in the middle of the day when I am at work. my cell phone is off at work so I show missed calls and no messages. I called hem back today not know who was at this number,I had a 37.00 bill from a dr office visit 30 days ago where the dr office didn't issue an invoice or collect payment from me. Apparently their billing system switched and some patient invoices were never issued or sent to the insurance company. no big deal, I've seen this dr for over 15 years, they know me so when I got this collection call, I told the caller, I would speak with the dr office as there must be some mistake. That went over like a boulder floating across water. the lady on the other end of the line was beyond rude, She told me, I have your insurance EOB right here, its not paid, you need to pay the G** D*** bill. There is no need to be so rude. I get it, your job sucks, don't take it out on me. Whoever these people are in the Kansas call center need some serious training on customer service. It wouldn't kill them to be nice when they speak to people.
