Oh really? did they "send it to a collection agency" or did the collection agency BUY the debt? It's all a big scam.

And another thing is patients do try and pay their bills...when they call and try to make a payment that they can AFFORD they are told it is NOT ENOUGH. They say they require you pay an outrageous minimum payment. so what happens they don't pay that amount because they don't have it. so they then get turned over to you leeches who they DO NOT OWE ANY KIND OF MONEY TO!!!

The only reason they were calling your phone is because your father must have given that number as a good contact number to reach him at. The Works & Lentz employee's don't know that the number that YOUR FATHER gave them is wrong until they call it. If you don't want to receive calls for your father then just be polite about it and tell them to please remove your phone number as a bad contact number for him. There's no reason to be immature about it to them just because they won't break their policies for you.

Has anyone had success negotiating a bill and settling for a lower amount with them? I make payments every month, and they have always been polite. I would just really like to get this mess off of my credit.

Works n lentz is legit, they will take your paycheck. Keep your arrangements or they will ask judge for a continuous garnishment order which means if you dont pay your next check will be garnished. ....

I recd a call from Sophie Mills at 9185922420 & evidently works for Works & Lentz. They are medical debt collectors. Have always been courteous. They want charges that was left over after Medicare paid.

These Guys are ruthless. They will attach a lein, law suit or garnishment to you faster than you can spit.

She id herself as Erica Larson, as if I knew her or she was a friend of mine...called me by my 1st name. It is a collection agency Works, Lentz and I don't mind the calls, but don't call me as though you know me and I've given you permission to call me by my first name!
