Said they were calling for a survey with the CDC. Caller ID said the call was from North Carolina. I live in Pennsylvania.

This is a follow to a health survey run by RTI for the CDC. It's not a scam. If you didn't take part in the survey, tell them and ask them not to call again.

Iowa number, called from NC. I don't answer numbers I don't recognize, especially if they don't leave a voicemail. It's currently 8:25 PM on a Sunday. I doubt this is a legitimate survey done by a government agency.

Just called my cell phone. Did not answer, and no message left. I am in Maryland and not California or North Carolina. Regardless, i consider any survey to be unwanted harrassment, and scammers seeking personal information for identity theft. Not that gullible, so they need to stop calling.

If this survey is for people in California they must be very stupid because I have never been to California and I live in Ohio. Sothey need to get there act together because I am going to inform the FCC and I can not get to phone and I do not have time for this crap. I called the number and I left message that I want them to take my name off there list and if I get another call I will keep reporting them to the FCC.

Prove it! Give me a 2 numbers and 2 names coming from CDC. I will do research! I will also call CDC's legitimate numbers. I have friends. We are Anonymous, We are Legion, We do not Forgive, We do not Forget, Expect Us!

Because people move with their cell phones, the area code is no longer really helpful for telling where someone is. The CDC does important work. I agree this is spam. Also, I could BARELY even hear the lady and she tried several times, but her voice was too quiet.

These people have called me several times and I keep telling them I'm not interested and to take my number off their call list. Plus I live in Oregon not California.
